I wasn't planning on having the pack this early but I won it on someone's stream. I love some things about it like the dating app and the new date system. I wish there were more activities to do on the dates. I LOVE the new career.

I'm playing the Gold Digger challenge on short lifespan at the moment. My Sim is in her fifth marriage and has six kids. I'm not sure if I want to continue with her as I am having trouble finding spouse #6 and she's almost an elder. Her youngest daughter is now a teenager, so I may just move on with her. That's a cute pink build, BTW.

On the top i would've told made a little hallway with the stairs and made two entirely seperate bathrooms that are just divided Between the kiddos and then the parents. It's kind of like a penthouse imo! Also, i love your voice!!

My best guess is that they try to limit the item count and the multichange swatches handle differently than separate items would in game play? I'm not entirely sure how using different swatches is different from different items on load times but that's my guess. The house looks good though!

I also got 4 bedrooms out of this shell but I turned it into a beach rental in Sulani. Completely different vibes. Great build!

Usually when I do these challenges, I use the free flooring in an odd color. That concrete that comes naturally on the floor has tons of swatches and is free. It saves so much in the ong run.

That was an adorable end clip! Probably not the word you were expecting but I really think so. Also, if you were to add anything to the empty floor, then you could always make it like, a butler/servant space? I know you can get those as live ins if you have the right packs. I think you did a good job on this!

love this challenge! my new year's eve was quite similar to yours, got very drunk lolz. we watched the fireworks, then went into town, the streets were so alive. awful hungover followed but it was all worth it. keep up the good work, happy new year!

I, too, have decided not to bother playing sims until after Apartments are out.

If you have the horse ranch pack, you could use the shutter objects from that pack with any window. It's been a lifesaver for my personal gameplay. We need about a million more of those in future packs.

Batuu has wall art. Not paintings, but the other category. If I remember correctly, it has banners and stuff. Also, I'm only at 7 and a half minutes so forgive me if you do this later, but there's a debug version of the robot dj stereo thing from the Cantina. It works and I always size it down so I can have a free stereo when I'm on a budget. lol

Fun Fact: Journey to Batuu has my favorite Debug tree in the ENTIRE game. It's a small tree that has hanging lights on it and it's so cute! I would have added a landspeeder to the build as well.

I actually enjoy building with Batuu. I just built a restaurant with Batuu and I have a couple of builds that are only Base Game and Batuu and one of them is a suburban home. I also got a Batuu-themed build from James' Tiny Home challenge but mine had to be 32 tiles and have room for two adults and child and an infant. I ended up using the tents in the backyard since there are Batuu tents. It was wild.

It's too hot 🥵

Having a bar on this lot is nice since there's a hidden death with Eco Lifestyle where your sim makes Beetle Juice (at level 10 and using the Beetle Nuggets from the bug home). You have to drink three of those drinks back to back and you turn into a ghost immediately, no death animation at all. The upside to this is that you can sleep comfortably in a haunted house lot so shosts with teh Beetle Juice death make the best Paranormal Investigators. LOL!

People are suspecting that the connection to the Loss comic and the swatches on the signs maybe incidate a refresh for Get To Work or perhaps a Grim Reaper related pack or something given all the focus on Grim lately.
