Watching these rehearsals and the style that emerged, makes you realize how much of a creation Janet Jackson really was. Not to say she didn't put in the time evolve into something that took over the market, but just watching these videos she was not a remarkable talent like her brother.

Janet is such a great dancer.. wow I can NEVER remember the moves and they move so fast.. HOW? bad memory, bad coordination🤕. this was my main struggle as a dancer.. never did it as a career, just as a hobby

Where was this video back in '86 when I was desperately trying to learn the choreo every time the video came on MTV? Over all, I think I did well, just didn't catch those little details of ball change ball change, or heels heels. "Janet's favorite move" hahaha! Love it! The guy in the red was always my favorite Janet back up dancer.

U think this is quick? Go to an audition. You don't pick it up quickly and YOU'RE OUT! These dancers are pro's and already hired to dance with Paula and Janet. Oh yes. They already need to be on top of their game. Learn quick as fuck and do it. And then go on tour if asked. Yas honey.

You have to admit, Paula's choreo REALLY is distinctive. You immediately know it's hers when u see it in music videos. And she was so young! Usually dancers get a chance later on after their career is dying a bit with more experience. She hit the choreo circuit nearly immediately.
