This film explores Athlone Town's cup victory in 1924, the subsequent soccer competition in that year's Paris Olympics (in which five Athlone Town players were prominent members of the Irish squad) and that year's Tailteann Games, including its links with John McCormack.
The film was created with funding from the Commemorations Initiative, Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, the Gaeltacht, Sport and Media.
