It may have a hard time closing, I don’t know if you’ll have much luck. You could go into a walk in store and see for yourself. They do have other options that are great!

It’s great, comfortable and it is able to hold both Soft armor and ceramic plate together or Separate. It’s very minimalist and sleek, which I was going for.

Good start. Seems most people forget a less lethal force option. Consider adding a quality OC Spray or baton to your tool kit. Possibly seek out some use of force training as well.

looking at the tier 1 for my P320m18....how those clips and wedge treating you?
I have used the wedges a lot! They help with the kit push in towards your body so you don’t print. They also help with comfort. Tier 1 has a pack of different sized wedges so you can see what fits you.

As far as the clips I like to standard plastic clips the holsters come with for the fact that they can flex. I also have the slim metal clips that secure well but don’t flex as much for ex.. if you have to remove your holster.
Nice. I am looking for some small tq to carry on me. Yours is a new one to me. I also have a todler, makes me a bit afraid to carry appendix as it would sometimes aim at him when we walk. Not taking any risks here😅
Well, he has a pistol with a grip safety and it is in a kydex holster that presumably has hood retention, so a ND seems highly unlikely. I used to carry the same pistol in 10mm. If you really are worried given the presence of a child, I’d suggest Israeli carrying something that is easy to rack.
Totally understand that, finding where to carry for you is so important. I find that appendix for me is the best. Doing drills where you may have to carry your toddler is something I’d consider!

With this QRF 221b tactical, I don’t think so. Although you can probably do some modifications if find aftermarket cummerbund etc!
FyI - I am also a 5.11 fan: Moab 6 and 10; LV6 and this LV10.

The way you have it slung is backwards. It's designed to be slung over the left shoulder. It's way more comfortable to wear if worn that way too. I do wish they either made it in a right shoulder version or ambidextrous.
It’s designed to be carried over right shoulder which is not how most sling bags work. I believe it is designed for maximum use of the ccw for dominant right hand access.
This bag in particular doesn’t have the option to switch sides. 5.11 lv10 doesn’t have the option unfortunately!
Its a great Plate Carrier I have one myself and I attached my chest rig set up to it and took off the admin pouch/mag pouch that came with it. And its just a great plate carrier!
I'm looking at this carrier specifically so I could attach my Haley strategic chest Rig placard. Glad to know it will work exactly the way I was hoping.

You carry too much. Imagine carrying your laptop and work stuff as well. That's a backpack, with one sling, bad for the back.
There are so many new options for laptop bags. I wouldn’t put a laptop in there due to the size unless you had a mini laptop or an IPad!
should add a couple pads and tampons for your wife/family/ female friends.
I also edc the 5.11 LV10 sling. You didn't mention the water bottle pocket which is extremely useful and compact. Nice video!

I just ordered a vertx commuter 2.0 mostly because the strap is thinner/smaller. That LV looks good though. I mostly wanted 15-20L that I could access while walking. (Kind of how you were accessing it on your video).

Thanks for the review. I have been looking at this plate carrier and one thing that has been holding me back is the size of it. A lot of other plate carriers I have used cover more in the front and the back. Any issues in that area?
With this QRS play carrier it was designed to be extremely minimalistic. It does hold the 8 x 10 and 10 x 12 plates. Not sure if that is something that is an issue for you.
It’s could be used as a “light and fast” get home bag. I kinda set mine up for half edc and half get home.

Nice bag. Suggestion: use an overhead table or 1st person POV shot when describing features of the bag. As handsome as you are, we don’t need to see your face all the time. 🤣 if the focus is on you, that’s fine; if the focus is on the bag, then let’s see the bag! Great job, keep it up! 👍
Another suggestion would be to go back and blur the keys. If someone found out where you live they can 3D print a key that is a duplicate of what is on your key chain now.
