Three ballplayers head from AA to AAA this week, each with their own path. Ky Bush is part of the most positive thing this season. He is a pitcher in an organization of promising pitchers. Edgar Quero is a budding star catcher, but the jump to MLB is hardest at his position Then we have a guy just making quick jumps level-to-level in spite of the way it normally goes for White Sox development. ...

Michael Kopech was a complete bust, Tommy Pham was a 36 year old 265 hitter, who nobody wanted this offseason, and while Erik Fedde pitched very well, he is a Boras client who would off been moved next season. I definitely would’ve liked a little more for him.
Gotta build around Crochet & Robert?
Absolutely, since crochet tanked his own value he should have no problems staying💀
How about Pedro's move tonight putting a rookie in his major league debut in a 1 run game we haven't seen that before😂😂😂😂 I fucking hate Pedro
I don't eloy or Michael kopech makes the postseason roster on either team the Dodgers or Baltimore
Fox Chris if anyone's running anyone into the ground it's Michael kopech on the Dodgers they are going to use that dude in all types of situations it wouldn't crochet they're going to burnout it's kopech
He was the one that wanted to be a stater so what’s the deal with Crochet. They mite as well keep him.
shutting crochet down? that's the absolute worst thing you can do, that isn't how you preserve an arm. you slow down his usage for sure, but you dont shut him down
great interview, kiddos
Grifol is a bonehead prone to doubling down on his mistakes. Having had too many managers is a lame excuse for finally keeping the worst one of the bunch.
Is Merkin looking at Grifol with Beer goggles? Last seasons team he ruined in April. This season more talk no action. FAST. Kc didn't want him. Grifol is hahn's mistake.
@minidar8908 everything that's happening is Kenny and Rick's entire fault I think Getz will fix it but it might take another 2 years hopefully quicker but bet may take another year
There is reports that the Orioles want to trade Cedric Mullins and MountCastle for pitching
poor poor republican billionaire Reinsdorf. Why am I not surprised. He wants to build a team on the cheap, as usual. Machado wouldnt come here, as he knew if he signed with the Sox, they will never spend on any other players to build a solid team.
Then the padres did and they aint doing shit
@@lukec6d9 at least the owner TRIED
Hey guys I like what they did because if you bring up the idea of trading Garrett crochet now they have controllable arms and good ones it makes you feel less bad about trading him away for offense Jack wasn't going to fix the White Sox offense overnight but pitching matters
Sox didn't ruin Vaughn. These players need to take some responsibility for themselves. Scotty Pods made a great point about this on one of the shows.
Bringing him up before he was ready, and putting him in at a position he never played. Terrible development, and I think it’s in his best interest to find another team.
The huge failures this season are the Pen, Benintendi taking up a spot in left field that could be filled with a better result by just about anyone and Pedro as manager whose inexplicable bonehead moves have directly cost the team at least a dozen games.
Vaughn is just starting to hit again, having come a long way back from a miserable start. He's only 26 and may yet live up to what was earlier viewed as his potential. There's no one with better potential in the pipeline so it's silly not to keep him.
You’re in Rochester??? I’m from Plymouth IN !
Chris Don't Lie the murder mystery was who killed Jerry reinsdorf and you are definitely the main character😮😮😮🎉🎉🎉😂😂😂
if poor poor republican billionaire Reinsdorf wont pay him properly, then trade him to the highest bidder and sox can be in the basement forevermore during the Reinsdorf era.
"You trade with me a lot...!" 😂
Can't keep Crochet. Can't keep Robert. We have good pitching in the minors but not enough hitters. Build the minor league system with more hitting. We can supplement pitching through free agency. Do like the Orioles did
Adding hitting prospects to your system accomplishes nothing if it's been proven for the last 15+ years that they cannot develop hitters
Keep Crochet & Robert & build the team around them!
I thought that's what was going on too but then Steve Stone slipped up in the game today and mentioned trading them but it was an accident you can hear it in his voice he corrected himself
It doesn't make sense to trade him he's 24 years old with control it doesn't make sense to trade Robert either I really hope they don't do this I don't think I can deal with it
I think it's a certainty that they're both being traded this month. And it really sucks as a fan of this team since like 1993.
Tim did this to himself with babys out of wedlock with thots
At least keep 1 of them look at robert today he changes the game
Man guys i hope they keep bolth of them
Thanks for helping me survive this season. Keep it up!
The White Sox have a possible TOP NOTCH rotation in the next couple of years. Crochet, Thorpedo, Cannonball, Schultz. They better not trade Crochet I am a Cubs fan but grew up walking distance from Comiskey. I still watch both teams closely. Both teams need HITTERS.
F Jerry and his milkshake
I think between the two you keep andrew vahun Because We're gonna have a more lefties With gonzales montgomery He's better than gavin sheets on defense too
We need new Head Coach
This ain't football. There is no head coach
@@vancelubben5300 they need new coach
The one thing about that Braves game.I'm pretty impressed with Jared Schuster this whole season.I think that was a great trade and might even be able to get something for him this year if they don't see him in the future plans
We need fix white sox team ASAP
Wouldn’t that be tampering with Schumaker already having a job.
Ed, I couldn’t agree more. LaRussa is Jerry’s puppet just like Paxson was for the Bulls.
Not Sox related, but what a disappointment San Diego had been the last year and a half. All that talent. All that money. I like Preller, however, because he keeps trying and trying. Reminds me of Kenny Williams a bit. Kenny never had the financial resources and several moves failed, but I always admired his aggressive nature.
Love Robert, but they’ll never get a haul like Rizzo got. That’s a phenomenal haul, one of the guys being a kid many thought the Sox should’ve drafted, CJ Abrams.
Agree, James. Signing Harper would’ve changed everything for this franchise. Instant credibility. Superstar who makes the team a must watch. Ay yay yay.
I think Baltimore will disagree that you can’t build a championship team by tearing it down to the studs. The difference between us and them is they not only had higher picks, but they smashed those picks. Elias has done a brilliant job. Again, they too have frugal ownership. They won’t spend to keep their guys when they reach FA. I think that’s one of the reasons Elias hugs his prospects as if they were his grandkids. He needs waves and waves of prospects. Although I disagree, I enjoy your shows, Chris
I disagree with Chris big time. The Pirates aren’t floundering. They’re roughly .500 a few years into a massive tear down. It appears they’ve drafted pretty well. They have many good prospects in the pipeline and Cherington has proven throughout his career to be pretty good. The problem they have is one we know all to well. Their owner is VERY CHEAP.
You spend years trying to draft a guy like Crochet, and guess what, he’s good! Don’t trade him. You have a draft and development hit, and the first thing you want to do is trade him. I can see the argument for trading him, but he’s young, nasty, and even younger to me because he doesn’t have many innings on his arm. This is a guy you try to lock up for 4-5 years and see if he bites. Having gone through a major surgery, he might
Cannon was awesome last night !
Your assessment of Thorpe is right on. The kid has the stuff, give him time.
Game with the usual blown chances to break it open on offence. What saved the game was Cannon going into the ninth that prevented the pen from blowing it.
Cannon...8 2/3 shutout ball. Lol
The guy that sounds like a real idiot who isn't High on Drew Thorpe the only thing I ever disagreed with you saying was Jerry dying LOL
Love your show Chris and Ed!
White Sox fans this team will be good by the middle of next year whether they trade those guys are not which they won't
In that April 13th start against Cincinnati Garrett crochet got squeezed by the umpires that inning that they got all those runs he should have struck out the side instead of the umpires have their own shit going just like always
Started with Jonathan India
