One of your best sermons! growing up Catholic, a baby had to get baptized as soon after birth as possible. If a baby died before they were baptized, they could never go to Heaven, but the Catholics figured a baby going to hell was a bit much, and so what we were taught in Catholic school was there were four places one could go after death: Heaven, Hell, Purgatory and Limbo, which was a place not good and not bad. It was just an OK place that was unlike Purgatory, Limbo was permanent, you stayed there for eternity, and this is where unbaptized babies went and also people who lived in a part of the world that never heard of Jesus Christ, but lived a life as good people. Gosh darn, the nuns would be proud of me, that I paid attention to the religion class that day and remembered it all!
