Impromptu Railfanning in Southeastern Indiana
Переглядів 42 роки тому
A little bit of railfanning in Southeast Indiana. Actually, I was on my way home from work and these units were heading eastbound. I was able to get ahead of it and caught it in Cockran and then again in Dillsboro before heading home.
Before You Go - on a Steinway (my boy messing around in a music store)
Переглядів 292 роки тому
We walked into Willis Music and my boy decided to play a song (Before You Go) on one of the nice Steinway & Sons grand pianos they had on display. I had no idea he played like that because he always just plays with headphones on our keyboard. He learned it by ear but he is taking some lessons from a friend of ours and she is trying hard to get him to read music.

We headed to some friends house to pick up our first two little piglets for our mini farm startup. I actually thought it would be more hectic but they slept most of the time
Canoeing & Kayaking in Indiana
Переглядів 1445 років тому
Our older boys, couple of our little ones and some friends set out to Brookville to enjoy a bit of mid summer canoeing and kayaking down the Whitewater River. The water is usually pretty low at this time of the year but the weather was perfect and the water was nice and cool. I didn't get much video of actually "canoeing" as I was too busy keeping my phone dry.

We got to do a little skiing in the evening at Perfect North Slopes right before they closed for the season. The older ones ran off to hit bigger slopes while I was managing (poorly) the little ones.

Liked the video, nice to see if it'll work in the protos before buying one to install. One idea to solve your wire rubbing problem would be to attach the speaker wires to the arms of the earmuffs with wire ties. Then cut the excess off the wire tie after you have it tightened, swing the arms all the way foreward (so the wires are fully extended) then bundle and secure the wires to the inside of the helmet with a sticky base and a wire tie. You should be able to get the wire ties and sticky bases at any decent electic supplier or hardware store.
