The bones are their money.
This boss is a certified troll and I love it. Acts all wacky as he bounces all over the place. And Like you said, one of the few bosses in the game where you're not fighting him in a flat arena. You actually have to think about your and your troop placement to make sure he doesn't get the drop on you.

@@gamewithlove3278 the only lobby I could get into was a 3-person ffa. I know its in early access, maybe another game mode would be better, but the maps were too open imo.
@@randompandemonium4823 that’s how I feel playing Friends Vs. Friends long queues but if people stopped playing Valorant these games would pop off more
Tbh the reason I think games are going this way is because a lot of bigger companies are not developers who create these games with hearth, but they wanna make money and take elements from previous games. A lot of games do that these days, but the good ones are trying to give a good twist to these systems or use systems that work very well while also giving great care to the details and quality. The bad ones unfortunately just copy paste systems that are just effective for the sake of it, like the infamous battle passes in order to make some money. There are passionate people in big companies, it’s just that they are limited by the company and sometimes too hasty release goals. The unfortunate thing is that most people are so money hungry these days. Especially with the increase in prices of everything. So yeah that is also probably one of the reasons why many big companies play it safe. It has basically become it’s own effective market. That was also true in the past but the knowledge for making a successful game was not clear and that is why the the bigger companies still had to put in effort to make it successful. There were still bad games in the past, but most of them were not successful at all while these days a lot of games are actually bad in quality while still making good money because of those successful systems.
@@liamsal9968 yea it sucks because obviously there are people who work on valorant who do it out of passion but the people who make decisions are the clowns in the board room

@@natemorford9293 they are both fps games, and the overall gripe is with multiplayer games nowadays vs then, using these two as reference points. Mainly here to dunk on valorant/riot

ONLY issue I had with the video is that at like 3:15 you said there isnt alot of lore but there really is and it's pretty interesting! Other then that yeah I spent like 8k on this game and thousands of hours hitting immortal 3 and it didn't make me any happier then hitting gold, the game at a minimum needs a ranked rewards overhaul and more interesting gamemodes and maybe even a forge thingy Also premier is alot more then a break from comp IF you are immortal 3's which places you in contender which if you win that you get into another league and IF you win that you go into tier 2 esports in which you can compete to get into the franchised league! So while it isn't good for everyone, it does have value and meaning. ALSOOO some esports players in valorant are also very sexist. (Not Jasonr but jst putting his name out there LOL) But SOME player didn't want to play on a pro team with SR Mel because she was a woman , but we don't know which player it was.
@@asutxrner you bring up some good points! I guess the lore of the maps didn’t grab me without the context of a story mode to highlight it. And yea I’m playing premier at a lower level so there isn’t much to keep it interesting, playoffs are 1 loss knock out which is so lame

Gotta say messmer is probably the best boss of the year so far, and i could put in a few from wukong as well. But this game looks interesting There were some dissapointing fights in shadow of the erdtree that had cheap difficulty, and i'm kinda getting sick of how any game that comes out now is just going to try to be as hard as possible, but messmer was perfectly balanced with great music and presentation. Then again i also played nier automata for the first time this year, and that's my fav game ever now, so i could probably throw in a few fights from that game that i loved
@@firstorderblade4432 yea I still loved the Mesmer fight, personally I think Midra was my fave from Erdtree but this game is super fun and the difficulty is challenging but not punishing which was refreshing to play after Elden Ring DLC

@@gamewithlove3278 your boss has very little difficulty, thats why it will only be a good boss and not a great one. its like a scale. no difficulty stands in the middle. no frustration, no accomplishment. if the difficulty is bad and unbalanced like godskin duo where you have to fight 2 enemies that arent meant to be fought together you have bad difficulty which ends up on the negative side of the scale. then you have a boss like messmer, he has zero bullshit moves but his mixups and combos alone are incredibly difficult. but its good difficulty because your failiure is always your fault. thus killing him gives a true sense of accomplishment placing it higher up on the scale. i hope i could explain myself on how youre somewhat objectively wrong. its okay if you prefer the more casual experience but this video is presented as an objective fact which is simply incorrect.

@@gamewithlove3278 your video is called "the best boss" which makes it seem like youre about to state objective facts. please tell what is more important than difficulty? because if theres no difficulty then there is no stakes at risk which leads to no sense of accomplishment. its not like im saying make the boss impossible with so many fast moves that only a robot can beat it no im not saying that. for what it's worth i thought messmer was quite easy. beat him at 10th try without summons and i only got hit twice. but the amount of difficulty that was present was perfect. you keep saying i only play souls games but that is simply incorrect. i have played games like ultrakill and fury and they have some of the best bosses. and that is because its just you and the boss and theres good difficulty with every attack being avoidable. a good boss fight requires patience and also faliure to make you remember the fight and also your feeling of victory at the end.
