いいねー
いいねー流石です。
Love to know if a process video exists!
You have done an amazing job with the combination of the music and Master Rogue Potter Kumano's tea bowl. What is the music you have used?
It is from the Akira Kurosawa's YOJIMBO soundtrack.
@@CABatA3S Thanks. I'll check it out. And again, you have done a great job with this.
Beautiful work 😮
Inspiring,thanks!
Would love to read your ramblings but...The link above does not open...

Double Thanks
Extraordinary pot.Extraordinary potter.Kumano-san takes no prisoners
Thank you very much for the upload. This is a precious piece of knifemaking history!
The music reminds me of Miami Vice…Don Johnson driving around Miami in the middle of the night in the white Ferrari
The music is Vangelis ,To the unknown man.
Hi, could I make a request that you add the dimensions and weight on the chawans? Your videos give me a lot of inspiration to make some, so would be nice to have those other details. Cheers
Where can I buy old Raku Kichizaemon bowl?
Hello, this may be vague but I would suggest finding a reputable dealer to help you acquire an antique Raku chawan. CB
@@CABatA3S thank you, do you think there can be fakes on the market?
@@krestonosets68 A very well known dealer in NYC once told me there are more fakes than real chawan when dealing with the heads of the Raku family. CB
@@CABatA3S Thank you, I wonder if the fakes are made in Japan by Japanese people or somewhere else.
@@krestonosets68 I would be reasonably sure that the bulk of the fakes originate in Japan.
Wonderful chawan! :-)
Ouh! Love this one!
Thank u
What a beauty!
Thank you.🌻 Do you know if Ryo Mikami is doing fine?Haven't heard from him for a while, love his work, couldn't get any information on the net
Hello, I am sorry, though I know of his work, I do not communicate with him. CAB
Cinnabar
I wouldn't say no to drink a good tea in it!
Beautiful glazes.. how are such glaze effects achieved?
Zatoichi?
Yes a clip from the television show.
Legendary Yu Fujiwara
A beautiful work!
A fantastic piece this is!
Handsome bowl but music js overdone-- sounds like wartime rallying the troops!
If you would like to find your way over to my blog you can contact me and I would be happy to give you my thoughts. CB
WHY are his pots considered to be so good? (not a snide trick question, just fascinated by these teabowl forms and keen to understand what makes a good one)
Really enjoy your vids, please keep them coming and share our passion. All the best from a fellow potter
Thanks for sharing, I like to collect images of tea bowls, the ones that resonate with me it some way. www.pinterest.com.au/never6505/tea-bowl/
Beautiful.
Beautiful.Thanks for postng!
This piece is astonishing
Beautiful!Wish I'd understand the words,but a real pleasure watching it.Thanks for posting.
Is this have setoguro and shino on one piece?
No, it is all just Shino glaze. CAB
CABatA3S is black shino common? I've only really seen the white to orange to red spectrum.
We live in brave new times where any glaze can be altered to fit one's needs or personality. There is a fair amount of "black" Shino style glazes that are in fact a result of trapped carbon. CAB
I would love to know what he says!
imperfect but well worth seeing Steve Addiss
Thank you Dr. Addiss. Any input is appreciated, have all your books/catalogues, they are all wonderfully thumb worn.Craig Bird
Loved it !
That's beautiful, any idea what the glaze is?
The "glaze" is the all natural result of an intense wood firing where ash in the kiln is deposited on the chawan and melts to become a glass like surface. CAB
wow
Beyonf genius
you are such a bender
Nice pot. The music sounds like the theme from a low budget James Bond take-off.
I like the background music, what is it's name
+Tseintso Sue To the Unknown Man - Vangelis
Wonderful video, thanks very much for uploading it. Might you tell me what the music is?
An appreciation of form and balance, this potter sees each piece for its individual properties.
thank you this is great
Fabulous work
What movie is this music from? Sounds very familiar but can't place it. Kurasawa film, most likely.
