I HIGHLY disagree. I have 5-8 CBs that are 1st or 2nd round graded and immediate starter quality. Eagles NEED a good young CB

Then you need to reevaluate your grading. This is the weakest CB draft in three years. Last year only had two really good CB's and Porter was ok and no one in this draft is anywhere near them. Every CB in this draft would be at best 5th on the depth chart for the Eagles@@sportsstuffpodcast

What are you on about Porter was just ok? He lead the league in completion percentage at 41.1%. Thats elite. James Bradbury regressed, Slay is 34, Avonte Maddox is cooked. Terrion, Quinyon, Nate Wiggins, KoolAid, dejean, ennis, kamari, tj tampa, hell even mike sainristil would all start. thats 9 corners and 8 of them I have rnd 1 and 2 grades @@marinasands4319

I dont see Odunze with that upside. I know a lot of others do but I see more of a Chris Godwin player and I think Fuaga has franchise T upside. No diss to Godwin but I would rather protect my investment in QB than get another wr when this class is so deep

I was really torn between trading up or taking someone early in draft. Just feel like the Broncos and Sean Payton dont want a rookie qb and would rather find a vet this offseason or next

Trey was HORRIBLE. Straight ass. One of the worst tackles playing tackle since Bobby hart for the Bengals. They need to keep Herbert upright and safe in the pocket. This draft is so deep at WR they can get someone later

He would be tagged, traded, then rework his contract with the Bears. Sadly sign and trades are almost impossible in the NFL unlike the NBA as how the CBA is worked out. NBA contracts are once off the books are off the books. NFL contracts the team who signed them originally have dead cap due to it. So a tag and trade would need to be done so the Giants dont have any of his contract on the books then he reworks his deal with the Bears into a longterm deal

I 100% agree. But if I am the Bears, the NFC North is a competitive division and you want to win now. Whether with Justin or Caleb getting Saquon then extending him is worth it because of the adjusted win percentage he adds to the team. You have 70m in cap space why not use it on a fringe top 5 RB that pairs nicely with Roschon Johnson. Plus, in the trade back you get another 1st next year. Its a net positive all around and I wouldnt be surprised if were talking about how the Bears won the trade a few seasons from now@@brianhammond2832

A lot of teams have LT in the top 10 but dont have RT. We saw Penei Sewell, Evan Neal, Mekhi Becton, Tristan Wirfs, Ikem Ekwonu, Darnell Wright all get moved around from LT to RT at the NFL Level at some point in their career or right off the bat. And thats just the last 4 drafts. Usually, great college LTs will be solid to great NFL RTs. But Great college RTs almost never make solid to great LT. LT is a harder position due to that being the blindside so the best pass rushers develop rushing the LT spot meaning the LT have to be better than usual. So if you make a great LT you will make a great RT due to the fundamentals that are taught. So the best LT in the class being moved to RT due to already great LT being at those teams makes a LOT of sense for those 2 teams to make 2 franchise linchpins

@@sportsstuffpodcast simple logic and math would say that 10 teams have a LT in the top 10. The debate is that if drafting a TE at the top of the draft doesn’t give good positional value (which I believe is true) then drafting a RT in that spot is at least as bad of a value. I have no doubt that either of the top two LT would play the RT position well but that is not the point

We saw last season with Michael Mayer that TE is not as valued as we thought. I highly doubt Brock goes as high as he should. I was following the past 4 draft trends in teams saying lets get a great tackle and figure the rest out as if you have great tackles, solid guard play will follow. Just look at the 49ers, Trent Williams covers up SO much inadequate play from IOL@@brianhammond2832

@@sportsstuffpodcast Trent Williams is a great example of a great left tackle playing left tackle. Great positional value! A left tackle playing right tackle? Not great positional value. If looking for a right tackle with such a high pick, either wait till the second round or trade down 10 picks IMO

But both sides will want to trade up. There are no teams post Drake Maye, Caleb Williams that will trade up and Jayden Daniels is not worth a trade up of multiple draft picks@@brianhammond2832

Theyve taken a depth DT twice, LB, and EDGE in just the past 3 drafts. They build to win now and win in the future

No, they have taken rotational DT twice and missed on one. They took a LB and struck out on that one and took Smith as a replacement for Reddick and doesn't look good so far.@@sportsstuffpodcast

You have drafted SO MANY edges and defensive linemen that you gotta give one of them a shot eventually. The under usage of Nolan Smith has been heartbreaking tbh

We only have two DE's on the roster. Sweat and Graham. The rest are LB's that rush from the edge. Smith is not used much because he is not very good at rushing the QB and too small to set the edge. Reddick is a freak. Could spend years trying to replace him with that type. We need DE 6-4 265-280 @@sportsstuffpodcast

@@sportsstuffpodcast firstly they moved from 12 to 3. Not at all the same numbers. Second, if the bears trade with anybody else in your scenario they will lose the player they covet. That gives more juice to the patriots side. Third, That 49ers trade was universally panned at the time as too rich

@maxhung7645 PFF simulator isnt perfect and neither is other sports media outlets. I value traits more then stats. Penix is nearly 24 years old in his first healthy season going up against mediocre to bad defenses no wonder hes gonna look good. I dont see him breaking off his first reads and delivering bullets down field consistently like other 1st round talent. But thats my take not ESPN or Fox Sports take

I was going under the assumption that the NFL is doing what happened to Laremy Tunsil to Jalen Carter. Off field problems happen right before draft making him drop lower. Not too far that is unrealistic but lower than expected

I can see them moving up if someone slips but I dont see who slips that they can't get at 24 or lower

Oh I agree about Braxton Jones. I was trying to say I think they would take Anton Harrison over Dawand Jones. Could be wrong on that tho. Braxton Jones was a steal where he was drafted and definitely earned a starting job. RT is likely what they will try and fill thru draft or possibly move Braxton over. Either way I would be shocked if a OT isn't selected with one of the 1st 3 picks for the Bears. Like I said great content. I'm a new subscriber.

You should know by next season if Justin Fields is legit. I, for one, do believe he is but of he turns out to be not it you have 3 picks to move up and build even more
