Thank you so much for this video. I have a new appreciation for slides. They sound so beautiful in this video. I like how you combined the two pentatonic boxes playing two horizontal patterns from the combination of the two boxes.. Craig Ewinger
I have a mental block when it comes to inversions / other voicings so I will have to watch and really study this video a few more times. it is a great video. Craig Ewinger
I just found you today on the internet and I've watched 5 of your videos. I can't get enough of your lessons. I love these different rhythms. Do you have them on a downloadable PDF? This video and part 1 video are very practical and user friendly. Please make more videos. Thanks. Craig Ewinger

Groove is everything! Though I understood the soloing concept, I struggled with it for quite a while. It wasn't until I learned to internalise the rhythm that things truly clicked. Great lesson.

Teaching is difficult, there is something for everyone here and you have a very high level of ability to teach me as a beginner then teach me as an intermediate. These UA-cam videos are chapters in a much bigger picture. Thanks Flo.
Thank you so much for all your awesome feedback-it really means a lot and is super encouraging! 😊
I’m in a situation now playing guitar with others and my basic power chords are being frowned upon. I understand a lot of barre and other chords but I need to improve my speed and accuracy. Thanks Flo !
It’s fantastic that you’re playing with others! While tips and practice through lessons and tutorials are super helpful, playing with others is really what helps you progress the fastest in my experience. I’m glad this video can help you work on your speed and accuracy! Wishing you all the best with your practice! 🎸

At about 2:00 your lesson helped me with a song called Fever I have been working on. The two songs to me have a lot of similarity. No doubt your lessons have helped my ear training and timing immensely. In the big sea of UA-cam lessons you are a helluva big fish. Thank You for genuinely helping me with my guitar endeavours.
Thank you so much for your continued support and thoughtful comments-it really means a lot to me. 🙏 I’m glad the lesson helped with your work on "Fever." It’s a great track, and I might even consider featuring it in a future lesson. It’s great to hear that the lessons have been useful for your ear training and timing. When teaching online, feedback like this is especially valuable because, unlike in private lessons, you can’t see firsthand how a student is progressing. Thanks again for all your support. If you ever have any ideas or questions, feel free to reach out. Take care, Flo 🎸
@@music.and.guitar Hi Flo. The version of Fever I am learning to play by ear is by the psychobilly band The Cramps. I have an interest in them as well as Ramones and Motörhead. I’ve seen all 3 bands live now decades ago and was my influence to start learning guitar late at age 58. I am 63 now and am passionate about many genres and artists.
@kerryfromaj9032 Live music really is something special, and how awesome that it inspired you to start learning guitar at 58 - and that you’re still going strong! 😊 I can totally relate to being inspired by so many different artists and genres.
I really enjoyed this whole series. Do you have any online courses?
Thank you so much! 😊 I’m really glad you enjoyed the series. I do have plans for a full course, but it’ll take quite some time as I’m still focused on growing the UA-cam channel. I’m also thinking about setting up a Patreon, and I’ll definitely continue this series in different formats. Thanks again for your support! 🎸

Thanks! 😊 The Tele is a Custom Shop model and isn’t actually that old-I’ve had it for just a few years. I didn’t initially want a relic-style Tele, but after comparing it with others, I had no choice but to get it because it sounded so good. I’m also starting to really like how it looks now! 🎸
