This winter we decided to drop into a few different parts of the South Fork, we thought no one else would think about going. We fell in love with the scramble down; and just the beauty of the river, deep in the canyon. These are just a few clips of our days in the canyon. Speech from "out of your mind" by Alan Watts Music Goldmund - Threnody

Hey dude! Just PCSd to mountain home to fly the F-15. I’ve fished once before the closure on the south fork. It appears that cliff you went down is past the bridge down blacks creek. Is that “smiths creek” that you climbed down to get into the south fork? Sorry if I’m asking to much info on your spot , I just love fishing and am new to the area

When you pass the bridge keep driving and you will see the waterfall and that's where we drop down.

The internet and people that feel the need to tell the world about a fishing spot just amazes me. I’ve scene this happen my entire life and the rivers I’ve fished in this state are not the same as they once were. The crowds , the crowds.. great job marketing the river. I hope to see you on the river.

I definitely don't see fishing spots the same as hunting. It's a big river. If people want to drop down the cliff like we do would be fun to see someone else down there.

Great video! I'm planning a trip to Boise this summer (mid June). I'm hoping to get out and do some fly fishing in the area. You got any recommendations? Is June a good time of year to catch fish?

Oh there is a ton of great spots on thr Boise river. You can catch fish anytime of year. Will probably be able to use dry flies around that time!
