Alcoholics fucking suck
I learned a similar lesson shooting falling snow, 1/100th is a good ballpark for halting falling snow with a touch of streaking.
Love it!
beautiful work man!
Thanks!

Thank you! Lots to come!
25 short is where i learned to splitboard and tour!

Thanks for watching!
I live in Manitowoc Wi. Basically where the land juts out In to Lake MI. Sadly, a boy (12) drown here in late August. A rip current took him out and they found him about a half mile from where he was swimming at around noon. He was swimming with his friends and he just disappeared, it took less than 2 hours to find him. I walked that same beach on Saturday and Sunday- the day he died. On Saturday the wind was out of the north at 20+ mph. On Sunday the wind had changed directly out of the south at about 15. My belief is that he panicked in the confluence of the waves and that is how he drown. It is incredibly easy to become complacent around Lake Michigan. I have seen so many stupid things people do, some times I can't watch. How about a 14ft. boat 2 miles out from shore or a 14ft. boat with 4 people in it. The weather changes so quickly, from rain to fog to sleet to gale force winds. My point in all this is where the boy drown there are rip current signs, just no one paid attention to them. Lake Michigan can be extremely unforgiving, beautiful and dangerous all at once. Lake Superior much much worse. It is important to remember it is called Superior for a reason. A riptide is sort of a misnomer, it actually is a rip current. And the Great Lakes are inland seas.
Very nice video 🙂 thanks for share, I like it 👍
The wind in the Wire made a tattle sound, And a wave broke over the railing. And every man Knew,as the Captian did to. It was the Witch of November come stealing.
I was camping east of Marquette years ago and was walking along Superior's south shore. Beautiful sunny day with waves no more than a foot tall. In 15 minutes, the waves grew to 10 footers with nothing really changing but a little more wind. I thought if you were in a small fishing boat out there, you were toast.
It certainty can change quickly!
Lived in Duluth from '89 to '95, Lake Superior had me in awe, love that lake and miss it, down in the dirty south in Georgia now, and still think about life in the far north....
Superior is certainly a special place
Don't see how you eat those dehydrated meals with cool water.
It wasn't by choice that's for sure. Our stove broke at some point during travels and we didn't know until it was too late
Beautiful. My favorite view and campsite. So special❤
You stimulate fond memories of living in Sault Ste. Marie. I think I must go back. Thank you.
