Holy shit, it's 2025 and someone still thinks "the missing link" is a thing. We have all this amazing tech in the world and yet still have people that don't understand the basic, and I do mean "basic", concepts that were presented to them in like the 3rd grade. Take that laptop you have on right in front of you, close out your badly made powerpoint presentation with your bullet points, open up a browser and just type in "what is a fossil." It's not a "bone in the dirt." A bone found in the dirt is called "a bone."

I think it’s important to remember too that Darwin was one of the first people to see signs in nature. Markers of natural process, not that he fully understood them, rather that he was the first to coin theories about them. This is the same thing with Freudian psychology. Sigmund Freud was one of the first people to begin looking at the psyche of humans, and coined a bunch of theories that are no longer accepted as Universal truth today, but unraveled a an entire field of scientific understanding. I’m not sure why people put such faith into Darwin when this was over 100 years ago and only an initial observation by one man. I feel we ought to pay homage to those first pilgrims of science, but they are not gods among men.

Yeah, okay. Here are just a few things in the Bible that can be classified as verified: - The universe has a beginning. - The Egyptians had Hebrew slaves. - King David existed. - Jesus lived and was crucified. - His followers confessed He rose from the dead to the point of death. Now that you’re listening, the point of this video is simple, the God of the Bible loves you and has provided you an opportunity to have eternal life. Repent and believe in Jesus Christ and you will be saved.

They were jealous of Jesus Even though they saw the miracles he performed and knew in their hearts that yes he was the son of God they knew 100% that was true they still rejected him and called him a follower of Satan They wouldn’t want forgiveness anyway that’s how deep rooted they’re jealousy was so that’s why they couldn’t be forgiven because they would never want to be anyway that’s just the worst kind of pride you can think of

I dont know i think we fail to understand that the bible does teach that we are to be trying to resist sin unto blood. We are called to be holy and im not sayin im perfect or even close but we are running towards it and not of our flesh or our strength. We are not righteous but jesus is. He is god and we are to live a life that overcomes. We need to equip each other and abide in jesus. There is one way and that way is jesus.

Even if you don't support Israel, look at it this way. Jews are increasingly subject to antisemitic hatred around the world. They do not have a safe space if they do not have a place they can call home. It is our part as Christians to love them as much as others, and we need to refrain from supporting terrorism directed towards them, ie. Hamas and the Palestinian cause of an annihilated Israel.

Problem… most false doctrines arrive because you treat scripture in terms ONLY as chapters and verse and not as the letter as it was written. Peter was talking about the false leaders and doctrines they would bring… that they cannot quit sinning and entice people with their lies ( vs14). They promise a way of salvation and liberty based on lies and bring people back into bondage… the bondage of sin. AND that they would use the writings of Paul in a twisted manner to suit their lies because they themselves are untaught ( in truth) and are unstable!( 2 Peter 3:14-16). And this is the strong delusion Paul warned of in 2thesselonians because people love their sin and believe they can be saved IN their sins. But the wages of sin will always be DEATH! And anything else is the language of the dragon!

Gnosticism didn't fully develop until about the middle of the second century, so decades after the Gospel of John was written, so both the arguments of 20th century scholars that John contains elements of Gnosticism, as well as the contrary hypothesis that John was writing against Gnosticism are pretty far-fetched. Also, as the Gospel of John was written decades after Jesus's death by someone who was definitely not the apostle John, to say that the author, (who was well-educated in literary Greek and thus not an uneducated Galilean fisherman) personally witnessed Jesus's teaching is nonsense.

Thank you for the question, it raises a good point. How do we live if we are no longer under the law? Paul answers this question later in Galatians 5:13-15, echoing what Jesus says in Matthew 22:37. At no point in this clip did we say, or even suggest, that sin is not still sin. This is part of a conversation on Galatians chapter four, and I would recommend either listening to the entire series on Galatians, or reading through it yourself with a good commentary for better understanding. In Galatians, Paul is refuting legalists that are infiltrating the church, who were proclaiming that you could not be saved just by faith in Jesus, but must adhere to the civic and ceremonial mosaic laws. These are different than God’s moral law, and include things about diet restrictions, adhering to specific feasts and calendar holidays, or the bigger talking point, circumcision. Paul’s argument is that these laws do not provide us any type of righteous standing with God, or salvation, both of which are only found in faith in Jesus. He goes on to explain that it is living by the Spirit that provides the fruit of the Spirit, but living by the law only produces more sin (Galatians 5:16-26) Here are a few of the other times we’ve covered aspects of the law, grace, sin, and legalism, as well as the entire Galatians playlist. ua-cam.com/video/5XAst1z2zQw/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/CxA8NegJwKw/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/m5uVEsF8OvU/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/zq1ePxzO8Io/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/vzMxZIRtdIQ/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/play/PLg7rILoLDyV-v7Z1HQk-MB3_ndSBGbxP7.html

"The Bible does not contradict itself." Oh really? Exodus 21:24 "Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot" Matthew 5:38-39: "Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also." The primary fallacy you continue to make is an argument from silence. Because God didn’t do or say exactly what you think He should have, exactly when you think He should have, He must not be good, or even real. And when He does say things you think He didn’t say, you either ignore it or suggest it’s contradictory. This is the greatest literary work in the history of mankind, and you think your words to be more clever. It’s been studied and poured over for thousands of years, yet you think your understanding to be more complete. Simply put, this is arrogance on your part. I pray God heals whatever bitterness you have that has caused you to set yourself against Him. I pray you lay down your self righteousness, and turn to the merciful Father that wants nothing more than to accept you into His kingdom. I pray you see the truth that is so evident, and stop wasting your time kicking against God and His word.

@@ThePhysicsofFaithPodcast If God knew that Jephthah was going to sacrifice his daughter if he won the battle, and God arranged for Jephthah to win the battle, and God did not interfere with Jephthah's sacrificing of his daughter, and God allowed Jephthah and his daughter to be praised for the sacrifice, then this is not an argument from silence. You might call it negligence, but not silence. It certainly is consistent with acceptance. "This is the greatest literary work in the history of mankind" LOL. As writing goes, it's pretty awful. You would not be able to find a publisher for it if you wrote it today. "I pray God heals whatever bitterness you have" Your God of bitterness could not even heal the bitterness which you imagine is in my heart. I hope that one day you will get some beliefs that you can defend. I hope that some day you open your eyes, wake up, and see the truth.

"They all came true. Every single one of them came true." So pathetically ignorant of your own scriptures. Ezekiel 26: (regarding the city of Tyre) 19 For thus saith the Lord God; When I shall make thee a desolate city, like the cities that are not inhabited; when I shall bring up the deep upon thee, and great waters shall cover thee; 20 When I shall bring thee down with them that descend into the pit, with the people of old time, and shall set thee in the low parts of the earth, in places desolate of old, with them that go down to the pit, that thou be not inhabited; and I shall set glory in the land of the living; 21 I will make thee a terror, and thou shalt be no more: though thou be sought for, yet shalt thou never be found again, saith the Lord God. The city of Tyre stands to this day.

You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below? Not in any of our laws. In fact, our currency literally includes graven images. You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God? Not in any of our laws. In fact, we value freedom of speech. Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy? Not in any of our laws. In fact, many of us work on Saturdays and Sundays. Honor your father and your mother? Not in any of our laws. You shall not murder. Hey! The Bible managed to get one right! Of course, as I have explained, that one is a gimmee. You shall not commit adultery? Not in any of our laws. In fact, many of our lawmakers (<ahem> trump trump trump...) commit adultery. You shall not steal? Hey! That's two now! Good on you, boys! You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor? This is not allowed while under oath, but there is no law against in general practice or even in public (<ahem> trump trump trump...). You shall not covet your neighbor’s house? There is no law against it. In fact, our Capitalist society runs largely on wanting to have the same possessions as our neighbors. Two out of ten? That's a failing grade, boys. Do better.

"Is murder wrong? Most people say 'yes'." That's because "murder" is a legal category, that is DEFINED as "killing that is wrong". Do we all agree on what qualifies as murder? Nope. Not even close. So the Ten Commandment is useless in guiding us as to what constitutes murder. "Is stealing wrong? Most people say 'yes'." Just as people said before the Ten Commandments. The Ten Commandments did not invent the idea that stealing is wrong, and we do not need the Ten Commandments to believe that stealing is wrong. Perhaps worse, the Ten Commandments makes it pronouncements based on the claim that "God says so", rather than appealing to humanity, social welfare, and community. God also commands people to commit genocide, slavery, infanticide, and r@pe. For all practical purposes, the Ten Commandments is worthless.
