Torque converter? Go to a transmission shop they sale a additive in a lil white tub stop shudder and it will work thousands of miles if that doesn’t work replace the solenoid

Nice 2018 Ford Taurus Police Interceptor- it’s got a cop motor and it’s also got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks-and it’ll run good on regular gas

My first CVPI (2008) came with some wasted RSA's on it. I put 4 good china tires on there. Got used to it. Wore out a set, replaced with another set. Got me a another CVPI (2011) and it came with 2 good and 2 worn RSA's on it. I think they feel better-especially in the dry- than the china tires (which get slick way before they wear down). So now I'm putting a couple good fresh GY's on the 2011 for a full set of RS-A's to compare to my china tires on the 2008. After five years of CVPI driving, I'm looking for dependable traction in the corners dry and predictable break-away in the wet. Sure I'd like a quiet ride, but I'm much more concerned about lateral traction when I'm tossing it through a bend. The firmness of the suspension is what makes the P71 good fit for me. Don't like the softness of LX and Lincolns, give me "sport mode"-but in a sedan. First one I drove reminded me of a BMW I had way back when-that was the hook. Having two nearly identical cars for tire comparisons is going to be great.

If you have a rattle that sounds like something bouncing in a tin can at low speeds check your lower fog lights. My left one had something in it rattling bad. Could hear it in car at low speed bumps.

Hi I would check the transmission fluid level with the vehicle running on leveled ground if you haven't already. If no fluid is on the dip stick while the vehicle is running, you need to add more. If its good I recommend using a bottle of Lucas transmission stop slip. Just drain out a quart of transmission fluid and add the bottle of the stop slip.

Lmme tell u something bout these struts..... They suck!! I didn't hve a rattle before I installed these quick struts now every bump I hit I hear a rattle it'll start bout 6 Mos after u put em in. Also thyre really loud in cold weather meaning they squeal at startup horribly. Have u had any issues??

I got a 2015 Ford Police Interceptor Utility with the 3.7L that I got clean as a Supervisor's Vehicle (meaning it had the full civilian console and wasn't butchered inside). It turned my 150 daily commute into a video game bruh. 😂

Good looking car. Our son is getting his license soon and he wanted a Hellcat! Well, I told my wife that a ex police Dodge Charger 5.7 HEMI is a great starter car for him. I'm looking at a 2017 today. I personally like the front end look of the 2016 and newer plus the rear view camera.
