It dose my heart good to know that characters from my Favorite Musical visit Children in the Hospital to make them better. I wish they could have done that when I was in the hospital!!
"Out There" - beyond the best live performance ever!!
Juuuuuuustn
how long did it take you to put on your jellice cats costume from cats the musical

Y'all need to give this Frollo actor love. His expressions and how he looks absolutely gleeful to start Hellfire is admirable!
I really loved that he sang Hellfire my favorite Disney Villain song 🖤💜❤️.
7:14 Hey! That’s the name of the movie!
Awww
Who’s here in da future
Yos
I always love this show and the Hunchback of Norte Dame is my all time favorite Disney Movie of all. I love Frollo so much 🖤💜❤️😍😍 this was filmed during when I was born.
Soon to be A Universal Picture...
Actually, the 1998 Royal Albert Hall edition is from Universal.
DisneyTimeLord No shit Universal did the 1998 film. 😏 There’s gonna be a horrible remake by Universal.
@@King_Colombia_Inc I just came back two years later if this simple warning. NEVER mention the 2019 film EVER again.....
@@mkaplan1383 what 2019 film? There is no 2019 film. The 2019 film is just a myth. There’s no such thing as a Dame Judi Dench Old Duteronomy
This was so beautiful! It is a pity that Disney doesn't care so much about this movie nowadays, HOND deserves more love, it is a great film!
It’s my favorite Disney movie
I love this show, I love the Hunchback of Notre Dame it's my all time favorite Disney film especially Judge Frollo he's my favorite character and my all time favorite Disney Villain.
I wish I was there I love The Hunchback of Notre Dame it's my all time favorite Disney Film and story. I love Judge Frollo he's my favorite character.
This is driving me crazy. I remember seeing this commercial for Cats back in 1975 or early 76 in San Francisco. The reason I think it was that time frame is the eyes and the music. I was mesmerized by them. I remember the TV and the room where I first saw them. It was my living room, and I moved in the summer of 76. The TV did not survive the move. So it could not have been past that time frame. But the interwebs say Cats debuted in 81. And I do remember seeing commercials in 81 and thinking "Oh good, its back. I want to go see that." I had already taught myself to hunt and peck play Memory on the piano. Am I totally losing my mind?
The play debuted in ‘83.
81 in London. But yes, it did not come to NY until 83 and even later to SF, which is where I saw it live in 1985. Which is why it is driving me crazy. The only rational explanation is that I am an alien time traveler. Or I am losing my mind, which is why I prefer the former to the latter.
I was so fortunate to be in this audience, pretty much right in front of Clopin - he had the bluest eyes (swoon) and the voice of an angel! Ah, I miss this show so much!
3:35-3:44 is my favorite
I was at this last show. :) Several of the performers were crying. This was such a good show. So sad that it ended! To sit empty forever.
I know...I know the feeling too. I do a lot of local stage shows; nothing as big as Disney World/Disneyland, but I always have trouble on the last day, because of the work and time we put into the show, not to mention all the memories and friends I make every show. I actually get a little emotional watching Esmerelda fighting back tears just thinking about it. <3
I swear many girls screamed when they saw Clopin ! gosh I'm laughing must be a tough job being Clopin when girls are following him☺😊
Yeah he’s cool cute and funny and love his French accent
What's the first song they play?
It's an excerpt from The Jellicle Ball.
So many ladies screamed when Clopin arrived on the scene. Lol!
interesting fact: Tour 4's sets came from Tour 2 after it closed (in reality Tour 2 wasn't really a tour as that was just the L.A. production
Was a great set. I saw this tour when it was in Philly
@@littlesongbird1 indeed. I prefer it to what they use in the most recent North American tours (2001-2012,2019- 202,2021-current) that tour for about 95% of their stops uses an inflatable reproduction because the tour doesn't stick around in a city as long as it used to . the only time this set gets used is when they go to Hawaii or outside the U.S.
@@disneydanny2 yes. It's a shame the tours don't stick around as long as they used to and I agree the inflatable sets while convenient just look so fake to me.
"Oh captain my captain" aaaaw❤️. God I was like 5 years old the last time i saw this! I remember that one time, one of the gypsies chose me to play the tambourine. What an amazing show👏👏👏👏
Ugh even this Clopin is cute. <3
The magic goes well beyond the stage.
I loved the audience's reaction to Clopin's appearance. This final show had a really good crowd overall.
You can tell that the woman playing Esmeralda in this was trying really hard not to get too emotional during this final show. Was it the person filming this that she was waving at at 9:59?
At the time this show was running I would have been 7-9. I only ever saw it once, but it was a thrill to see in action. What a shame the area really isn't utilized anymore.
At 07:07, what did that lady said? I got confused.
Chopin did so amazing! All the cast and crew, I feel so sad that I was too young to be an actor in the show. ;^:
NO WAYYY! :0
I'm literally sitting here crying like a baby because this brings back so many memories. lol
This was so cool! Like popcorn for the soul! I know theyre both talking and moving 'out-of-charecter' but that's a good thing. If they did talk and move in character it might freak out the kids.
Wow, this is wonderful! Bless you Joyce and Steven! You two are so sweet <3
I had the cassette too at one point but eventually we had to throw it away because it had been in storage for too long. Still this show is so cool!
Clopin has a large fan group. :] This movie is so underrated. They shouldn't have gotten rid of this! >.<
Well the live action movie is coming out soon so let’s hope they bring Quasi Clopin Esmarelda and the gang back
Clopin has a fan group in that audience! I want to be part of it! Clopin has always been my favorite character in Notre Dame. And this proves to me even why I love him! The actor who played Clopin was amazing in all ways!!! I applaud you!!!!
You did a brilliant job! They never should have closed down this show.
Man I wish they would bring this back. I was only 5 when it closed, so I don't remember it all that well, but hunchback of notre dame is one of my favorite disney movies of all time. It's a shame that it's so underrated.
Hi this is Joseph Favalora. I played Mistoffelees! I have absolutely no footage of me in the show. Would love to get a better more clear copy. Can you or anyone help me? I'll check back here from time to time. Thanks
I saw this tour when it came to Philly in October 1996. Thanks for being a part such a great production!
I know Joyce!!!
God, I wish they'd bring this show back to Disneyland. I LOVED it.
Oh how I would love to work there
this mistoffelees is The Greatest we've seen! x
I wish I saw CATS in Vegas in the late 90s.
Really? Who did you play in the Spirit of Pocahontas--which is still one of the best shows by the way! I know Kerry was the first principal John Smith along with Paul Cady. However when Kerry broke his leg jumping off Grandmother, Paul took over as the main John Smith that performed everyday. THEN when Paul hurt HIS back in the show (John Smith is a dangerous job) the Phebous' in this video was the main understudy along with one of the Clopin's--and I think one of the Gaston's in the B&B show.
I was also in the Spirit of Pocahontas - and to the best of my recollection Jim Graft never did John Smith.
I was one of the two men who played Frollo at the Festival of Fools...this is me in the closing day performance video.
There were two principal Frollo's - I am the one in this video. This show was a blast. I miss "old school" Disney!
who was the guy who performed frollo? i have been trying to find out his name for years now
