WORTH?
so this is basically a modern snowplane, but with more suspension and luxery
What an idiot invention. Blowing the air is the most nonsense way of moving the vehicle if there is ground close by. Wheels are already invented. This thing does not do anything better than a snow scooter. This thing is heavy, expensive, fuel consuming, noisy peace of crap.
hahahaha, the flintsone brake... good greif.. FAIL!
What a waste of money and time. A snowmobile can do everything this does 100 times better, cost 100 times less, and burn 100 liters less per day... HMMM I think I'll spend my dough on this retarded plane thing. FAIL
Less moving parts the better.
+Stephen H. Looks unstable at high speeds too. Snow machine all day.
Thass a beeutee mate.
they had these pre 1960's
You mentioned 7000 rpms. How fast can you spin that short prop before the tips break the sound barrier and lose efficiency?
Moon Regan!
have you been off any sweet jumps?
Of course he has....that's obviously the sledgehammer of snowmobiles man.
This is great its a beautifull transportation
GREAT SNOW TRANSPORT. LOVE IT
What type of propeller do you have? Hoffman?
Nice machine! Who made the propeller? Did you change the BMW to a Rotax?
CONCEPT??? THESE WERE MADE BACK IN THE 70's IN NORTH DAKOTA GARAGES. ALREADY BEEN DONE JUST FORGOTTEN.
Yeah, back then common sense. Today, very few have any common sense. If they had we wouldn't be stuck with the current administration in the White House.
Common sense would say no you do not need one. But unoccupied lakes are getting harder and harder to find unless, of course, you live in Canada (or Nebraska, LOL).
Common sense would say no. However; unoccupied lakes are getting harder to come by unless, of course, you live in Canada.
Last I checked planes spend a limited amount of time on baron runways and then are airborne. Not tearing around on lakes where there are ice fishermen, ice skaters, snow mobiles, etc... .
No cage around a prop spinning @ 7,250 RPM's. Certainly no safety issue here.
This concept has been around for a long time. This machine is complicated and a heated cab is much better here in the North country.
snowmobile is way more faster smoother and cheaper
why not implement a hover vehicle less weight on the ice and a smoother ride
OR, you can ride something much more practical and faster like a snowmobile...lol
@htomerif fecking lulz, couldn't have put it better myself !
It's like driving an airplane on the ground with no runway and the added benefit of having a 500 pound exploding blender sitting right behind you if you hit a tree stump! Certainty of death, small chance of success? What are we waiting for!
made out of LEGO
@TheRockerxx69 stfu go hug a tree ...
terrible
Stupid
COOL BUT WHATS THE POINT?
And you forgot to put doors on it !!!!!! i hope Gunni will save you.
HAHAHAHA BMW HAS RELIABLE ENGINES?
@RKvids9 Oh ok, fine. Yes, if it tips backwards the prop and drive-train will shatter. But unless the man tries to jump off a ramp with too little power and he starts sliding backwards (most likely regretting the day he was born), I don't think that will happen, because its being pushed *from behind* by the thrust of the engine. Think of the prop's thrust as a forth leg that supports the vehicle from behind, and you get the idea.
@RKvids9 Well then like anything on the planet you tip it back up. Then its useful again. Yays.
I would want the wing option
Looks like a stable and effective piece of transport!
85mph top speed.
/watch?v=EMHTg11UkiM ------>>>WATCH THIS!!!
Cool! What's the top speed?
well think about it, it isent ment to be a cargo carryer its ment to be a people carryor (i assume 1-2 at a time)
