So, I have very high porosity from heat and highlight damage. A generous layer of Instant Recovery Serum is an absolute game changer. Without it, I lose definition throughout the day and also get so much frizz. If you struggle with frizz or high porosity, the serum is for you!!! I wonder if because you mixed it with the air dry cream? You have beautiful waves BTW. ✌️😁

I have both the air dry cream and the hear protector cream. I also have the same hair pattern as you. I found that if I only use the air dry cream, I get more definition. I just got the leave in so going to try that and the air cream to see how it ends up.

Can you share which towel is the one you got? I have gotten a few of them but I dont think they wash well

Squalene is from sharks, while Squalane, with an “a,” is from sugarcane or plants. Biossance is vegan.

I love this brand. My skin is so bright and even. I use the lip balm at night before I go to bed and once in the morning. I love the aloe cleanser. I rotate the vitamin c and copper peptide in morning every other day. I ran out of my retinol so waiting for their new one to come back in stock. The lactic acid is good and I use it every other night. The BHA toner is super nice even for people who don’t have break outs. Just evens skin so well. Both of the moisturizers are so good. I just ran out of omega cream and am going to try the rose one. The gel cream is so much better then other gel creams I have tried that just don’t have enough moisture. The copper peptide is expensive but you get almost 2 ounces. It will last me a year by only using it every other day. I find by rotating serums o am buying them so infrequently. The rose oil is so good. It does take a few minutes to sink in so I mostly use it at night. Because of points and free gifts I have never bought a full size. I can’t bring myself to buy a eye cream. I feel my moisturizer does fine. But I would use it if I got it as a free gift.

Accutane made your skin look amazing! Just curious…..have you continued to use the Briogeo charcoal shampoo & mask? I want to try the shampoo…..since I recently have tried other scalp care products and I love how my hair & scalp feels post use. BTW, I’m older and my skin is dry and I’ve been using in shower oils on my skin for years. My favorite is Bioderma cleansing oil but I haven’t tried Curel. I’m gonna try it!❣❣

Your refresh turned out very cute! I’ve got a couple tips that might help you. 1) To save time and product, mix a small amount of your curl cream & leave in conditioner with the water in the sprayer. I don’t use as much of those products on refresh because I used plenty on wash day. 2) Try a spray gel. This is a refresh game changer! 3) Don’t get your hair so wet on refresh….then you might not need the heat.(dryer)❣❣

I’m a new subbie! I’m older…think of your sweet, gray haired grandma….but my hair is your length, density, and 2B/2C waves. I went my entire life not knowing I was a curly girl. I even use to get spiral perms back in the 80’s & 90’s. Then the Pandemic hit and I stopped using the blow dryer and watching curly videos to figure out what to do with my hair. There is a big learning curve. I have a whole box of stuff I’ve tried…lol. So far, what I’ve learned is my hair has to be super moisturized to make my curls pop. My best friend so far is aloe vera gel. Yes, aloe gel FIRST after washing then styling products. ❣

I'm surprised you don't like the Elderberry Cleanser. It's basically a thick oil cleanser which you mentioned you were interested in finding. I just re-upped 2 bottles because it's apparently being discontinued, and Sephora has it on sale.

Their sister company, Pipette, is amazing also! I have so many of their products because they’re great for me AND my kiddo. Same story with the squalane in every product! Plus the price point is waaaaaay lower for the same quality 😂 I have the same beef with the elderberry cleanser!! I had to move it to my second step cleanse because it was horrible lol

LOVED the comparison with styling and I've been so curious about just doing an air dry with JVN (but afraid of frizz-factor on my super fine gray hair). Just my opinion, but I liked your hair even more the second day when you air dried it and only used the JVN products. I have the same wave pattern and I can't wait to try these out based on your results!

Hi! I just bought the mini air dry cream from Sephora. Did yours come with a seal? Mine didn't and it kinda looked like it was already opened so I'm curious to see if yours was the same or if you had to break a seal to first use the cream. Thanks!
