Back to the p30’s🤷♂️ shot pretty well today from appendix caught my shirt loading the mag on the plate rack stage and forgot about a popper on stage 1 finished ar 68% of the pcc master that won Not too bad 117 a 27c 1d 1m 1ns 1 procedural

Shot ok, not great. Finished 2/6 in production. Took a fall, and apparently was pretty close to breaking the 180 on the stage where I opened the door and the one taking the gun off the barrel. Need to watch out for that.

Decided to put the p30’s back in the safe and continue on with Glock. Just need to push myself to get faster. Shot ok. 112 a 30 c 6 d. I have to make myself get into a dry fire habit.

Struggled on steel today. 122a, 37c 3d. Total time was 126.45. Finished 17/37 at 65% of open GM that won the match. I'm pretty happy with that but definitely could have been better. This gun is very hard to run fast. On the last stage you can see how my splits slow down towards the end. I keep thinking I should go back to my Glocks, but am going to persevere and learn to run it better:) Even th...

Some good some not so good. Shot pretty well today, had 2 Mike/no shoots. One on a classifier I didn’t get on camera. 111 a, 27c, 2m, 2ns. Total time 122.52

Going back to the p30’s. After 3 years of shooting and buying Glocks I am going back to the hks for a while. I have realized that while it’s a hard gun to shoot well, it can be done. My goal is to try and make a class this year with the p30’s. But I’m going to have to do a lot of dry fire and practice.

Managed to win b class,but only because there was only 1 other b class shooter in production. Some of the stages I shot ok, but struggled with some steel, accuracy, etc. Major matches really show my deficiencies. Finished at only 59% of the GM that won production. I’m really not happy with that. Oh well.

Shot pretty well, 100 a 22 c. Hf’s: 6.2 5.7 7.4 4.7 Stage 4 at night is hard to see, I shot all alphas on that stage but blew the plate rack. I am noticing that my eyes are getting worse, especially at night. State match on Sunday at wac.

Another not so great day of shooting. I feel so slow in every way with this gun and am really struggling with the trigger. I used to shoot them much better but 3 1/2 years of Glock shooting will take a while to overcome. I believe the p30 can be run at a very high level, but it’s going to take some time.

Getting used to the p30’s again. Shot ok. 111 a 31 c 3 d and 2 mikes on zebras. Hf’s 5.9, 3.6, 5.6, 6.2 (b), 3.1 (2 mikes) 6.7. The p30 is a hard gun to shoot fast with a stock trigger. But I enjoy it.
Does the p30 slide work on P30L frame? I really want to try the lazy wolf guns combo where you use a p30 slide with a pmm comp on the p30l frame. It looks so nice. I currently have a p30l and wanna know of this really works before purchasing a p30 l. Could you please let me know?
I honestly don’t know. I have never tried switching them. I think they use a different recoil spring though. Lazy wolf is amazing with what Rick does to hk’s!
@@jonathanfrost944 wouldn't you just use the p30 recoil spring with the slide on the p30L frame? Since it will be the p30 barrel
@@Cwaydonyeah I guess, I would have to take a look and see if they are the same frame. But if they are the same size than I don’t see why switch the barrel and slide would make any difference?
@@jonathanfrost944 have you seen the lazy Wolf gun carry comp video? Could you please try it out? If it really is a easy swap I would like to recreate his pmm compensator on p30 slide/p30l frame

Left eye. However, I only shoot and write left handed. All other sports I play right handed. But I still shoot with one eye closed🤷♂️

No, it's a V3 da/sa. I have a p30sk LEM and I really think the LEM trigger is the best HK trigger. Do you have p30?

@@nickb1690 they are not the fastest guns but I love them. I have a video of our concealed carry matches with my p30sk lem. I love that gun for carry.
@@jonathanfrost944I agree. I sent my P30SK V1 to LTT. They did their trigger job with the Gray Guns flat faced trigger ant short reset and it made it even better. Nice shooting🙌. Cool range 🤟

Does a 18 rnd mags fit into a USP with no jet funnel mag well?
Without the jet funnel it will fit but there will be a gap.

Why??? He’s confident without it..he’s acquiring his sights no problem he’s shooting as fast without as most people are with a red dot now we can’t see his accuracy and actual hits but he’s shooting fast

decocker is good for lefties, better for right but I don't mind it. I have a p30 sk lem and I really like it. I wish all my p30s were lem
I've got the P30L in 9mm and 40 s&w. Both are very accurate and part of my ccw rotation.

I'm afraid to ask what monster got first place, because even this looks like a very above average skill level You get your sight picture fast, you do follow up shots fast etc., how does it even look like when someone gets a first place?
That looks like no muzzle flip, do you grab the trigger guard with your finger to get a better grip?

Lol what happened to the getting back into the P30’s? I’m just kidding ya. I love my HK’s as much as you do BUT I shoot all my Glocks better/faster Yes dry fire, dry fire, dry fire
to be honest when I tried to shoot at 40 or more yards the trigger makes it almost impossible to hit anything. I shoot my glocks out to 100 yards with incredible consistency. that was the main decider, which is a little silly but oh well:)
@@jonathanfrost944 No I get it, completely. My P30 is a V1 lite LEM. I can shoot it just as accurately but not as fast as my Glocks. Has to be a little slower, more deliberate.

I love the p2k. With the large rubber back strap it just shoots so good.

Surprisingly a lot different than I thought. It was fun. But I kind of miss doing all those reloads. Gave me another excuse to be so slow.

You waited 2 years for this? Are you high? The match trigger is sold separately and so the jet funnel and the adjustable sight. Dude what? 2 years? I’m just speechless with your dumb/poor choices. You caused a lot of discomfort, I’m disappointed and disliked your vid. Guy instead of getting the usp expert which is 5 2 inches barrel and comes with match trigger and adjustable sight, waits 2 years to get the regular usp v1 for “comp shooting”. You need to do better. “Usp custom sports or whatever” keep telling that to yourself and stop spreading bs excuse to us audience dumbass. The elite would have made A LOT of sense but its you. Guy instead of looking into the site “gun deals” gives money to some shady fool to give him usp v1. You deserve this.
Cool man. I too love HK. I probably do shoot my Glocks a little better. I have 1 P30. It’s a V1 in Lite LEM. I carry it too. The trigger does not really bother. Especially if you don’t go back and forth between the 2 brands. As you know the longer you shoot the P30 the less and less it becomes a trigger issue. Most of my HK’s are USP’s but I still think the P30 is probably the best looking polymer frames pistol that has ever been made.

I have the same gun. I had the Grey Guns short reset installed. It cut the reset in half. Big improvement for the LEM.

@@jonathanfrost944 I kept the original curved trigger, only because the flat trigger covers too much of the trigger guard and made it difficult to get my finger in place quickly. Just my preference.
P30s and VP9s are unshootable for me. The vague triggers and funky “ergonomic “ grip has driven me back to the Glock 35.
Certainly understandable. I have become very fond of Glocks over the last couple of years. However, I find the challenge of learning to shoot this pistol fun and motivating.

I know!!?? I'm shooting the slowest pistol on the planet with the worst trigger and no one wants to help me out:). Very frustrating.
Well the videos of Mr. Frost shooting the P30L some years ago inspired me to try it as well :-) I m way slower, but always with a grin and smile on the range enjoying my time and the sports. So, actually, there are at least 2 persons shooting the P30L in matches.

Only in limited. Back then I only shot limited minor. I still do a lot, but also shoot a lot of production. No one really shoots either of those divisions anymore since everyone shoots with a dot. Do you shoot uspsa?
Okay awesome thanks! I just started shooting a few steel challenges and outlaw matches. This coming Saturday will be my first real USPSA match and I will be shooting my Expert. I really enjoy shooting with irons and thought it would be a good choice for me to use since I feel most comfortable with it.
@@TheJpo911 that's awesome! The expert is a great gun. Definitely not the "best" for USPSA, and lots of people will tell you that lol. However, if you watch the old HK team they ran the expert and p30L in production and finished very high, usually top 5-10 in major matches back when a lot of people shot production. It can be done.
