I go for Yamaha due to korg doesn't suitable for the song that requires lot of voices and styles changes instantly during performance, especially for orchestra and cinematic music. Korg is great, sounds good, just shame it doesn't have the registration feature which is mandatory to me.

This was a great video for me. I was considering to buy one of these three keyboards. I want to replace or upgrade from my Korg Kross 1 (88 keys) - and you had them all lined up for a thoughts review in one video. I wanted to keep my bias in check (I am a Korg guy too); with more "soul searching", and I found your video. All are great keyboards in their areas or lanes, but I am not biased- The Korg Nautilus is my choice. In fact, there is a major update for the Nautilus at the Korg website.

I am old school with keyboards just pumping out unique sounds with pre-loaded effect. Great for live. I bought an Acai midi, and wasn’t used to having to have a computer by me like that. My main question is, is it difficult for someone on keyboard to play live for a small event maybe 10 people on a stage while using a midi? I just wasn’t used to a system like that although their sounds available are spectacular. Or do keyboard musicians like you if playing live prefer to have a larger keyboard with all the effects built-in? Of course, now it makes sense to me why having two or three tiers of different keyboards is necessary .

I love it. My part is guitar, but I will admit, The Cars, and so many other great bands just wouldn’t make the big presence live as they do without that familiar keyboard sound. So many people will recognize their fav song on the first chord, and beat.

Hi. Have been trying to decide. Genos 2 or pa5x. The vids i keep watching of the korg the more im leaning toward choosing it. I've heard people saying the sounds on the korg sound metallic and false?? But what ive heard so far by watching as many vids as i can including yours😁 sounds pretty bloody good to me. Its sounds punchy and crisp. I love cinematic/ambient/space type/epic /warm kinda sounds(especially ACreed music)And im sure by layering the sounds from the korg i bet sounds f.......g Awsome.😊😊 . Maybe you can do a video of these kinda sounds experimenting with pads,strings and other etheral sounds and layer them all to get epic awsome sounds. I cant find any vids using just these.its just piano half the time.😠 Anyway with my rant over 😄 keep up the good work and Enjoy the KORG! I think il probably go for the pa5x in the end.👍🇬🇧

Should have called. Me and Noah would have gone. If not for the history recap alone. Whatever setting you had it on in the beginning was fine with wind buffer. It did not overwhelm the vocals and some of that noise simply adds to the nuance

I do 4 gigs a week. And I am watching this to learn more about the PA5x. My biggest problem is I fly throughout Europe and this is a big keyboard. Currently I use the Roland BK7M . The sounds don’t compare. Korg is way better . And the whole workings of it is awesome . But I fit the BK7M in my small bag and use a midi keyboard . And the price :) . I would worry about it getting smashed in transit ! For the price of this I can buy 10 BK7Ms!! Crazy :) sounds good though ! I don’t use styles .. I play left hand bass with drums .and use some keyboard sounds .

I've owned a 76 key PA5X for about half a year now. I agree with basically everything SpoonMan says. No regrets, and certainly no regrets over choosing it over the Genos. The only thing I wanted to point out is that - while I definitely agree that the Korg's semi-weighted keyboard is very well built and much more solid than that on the Genos (I have demoed both) - its action is decidedly on the stiffer side. I'm not talking about just in comparison to the Genos. I have the PA5X paired with a Korg M3 - a keyboard with really solid construction and historically regarded as having fantastic semi-weighted action - and the PA5X keybed is noticeably stiffer. Also stiffer than that on a semi-weighted Montage M that I demoed at some length before deciding upon the PA5X. Don't get me wrong - I'm not saying that the PA5X's stiffer action is a bad thing. But it did take me time to get used to. In fairness, if I had the PA5X as my only semi-weighted keyboard, I probably wouldn't even notice it. But when shifting between both the PA5X and M3 keyboards (or playing both simultaneously), I have to use more pressure on the PA5X to get it to respond in the same way. Other than that, I couldn't be happier with my choice. I'd be curious what other PA5X's owners have experienced regarding this (in comparison to other semi-weighted keyboards).

The future of the keyboards should be akai. Or like akai mpc. Capability to load any plugin, just like kontakt on PC. But there is much more work to do to get to the level where Korg, Roland and Yamaha is. In point of practicality, changing sounds, keybed and premium quality overall.

Yeah, I recently purchased a Yamaha PSR-SX600, and I'm very happy with it (good value for money), but I think if I was in the market for a really high end arranger, I might take the Pa5x over the Genos2. Something about that Pa5x screams out to me.

if i buy the gley's albion corps set for 1500 does it come with gley's skin or will i have to buy gley for 600 separate?
