Mine didnt work well like yours my version was a little higher and when i tried to open google maps its asking me to update the app so instead longpress on gmail then go to notifications and go down where you see more settings. Clikc on it then a new page will pop up from there you will see three 3 by the right top side click on that and choose manage google account. Two options will show depending on your version choose accounts and it will bring you directly to settings from there continue the video and youre good to go it worked for me
