The Young Women’s Preparatory Academy News Studio is known as Monarch Studio A. Students in Monarch Studio use their skills to produce a live entertainment news show which delivers the morning announcements to the YWPA community through our UA-cam channel every morning. In addition to the morning announcements, Monarch Studio A also broadcasts school events, recurring segments, and innovative content.

Students experience how actual television broadcasts are produced, directed, and put on the air, while also training to take on supervisory roles in the production of MSA, the school’s daily broadcast news program. Students are responsible for planning, designing, shooting, editing, distributing, and exhibiting their work while developing artistically, and intellectually while managing aesthetic and logistical challenges.
