Also worth pointing out, that if you have low chaos and went undetected during Cambpell assassination, and he died from poison, the poster on the next day will read "Wanted Unknown assailant of Tadeus Cambpell" And as a portrait there will be black silhouette with a question mark in the middle. Haven't seen this one anywhere and just found it in my latest playthrough

At the flooded district the lowest u can actually go is that the guy doesn't even report because they didn't see you and never got a body detected

"Hey did you send them to check the yard? Hello? Is anyone there?" doesn't seem to just be high chaos, I've gotten that line every time I play, no matter if I killed the guards outside corvo's cell or knocked them out

The Chaos system is one of my favorite systems in all of gaming, because it uses not only your own gaming instincts against you, but also your sense of immersion to make you feel things by altering things from the background. I foolishly chose to go for a clean hands ghost shadow run for my first playthrough, and it was HARD, to the point where I almost gave up. However, I pushed through and I felt really happy with my ending, and I'm proud of that achievement. I felt proud of myself, and I immediately wanted to play again. However, when I started my High chaos playthrough, it felt really, REALLY good to cut loose and destroy your enemies that I was flinching and getting frustrated at for hours before. However, when I reached King sparrow Island and Samuel told me he was disappointed in me, and Emily, the girl who was our mirror and main influencer became a cruel and merciless tyrant, I felt terrible, like I was treating the citizens of Dunwall like meat puppets for my own amusement. It was a sobering moment that made me examine why I play video games in general. Didn't expect to have an action stealth video game make me question my inner character, but here we are. Play Dishonored, it is a masterpiece.

Staying in this world just a little bit more motivates me to do stealth and low chaos quite alot, also seeing Emily remain innocent and not learn the bad things from Corvo.

At the party I pickpocketed EVERYONE I could. Made thousands. I though it'd be hilarious if that were also in the letter in the last clip. "Someone signed their name as Corvo Attano, and Lady Boyle went missing.... strange.. OH and everyone reported their wallets as being missing...huh."

I'm playing Dishonored 2 all the way through right now. It's so much harder than the first game and the first DLCs. I guess I have to get used to it for it to get easier. It's harder to stay undetectable in this one. I'm trying to have a low chaos playthrough, but I might as well stick with high chaos for my first playthrough and then work on low chaos on my second time. 🤣

This game was really ahead of its time. I think it was overshadowed by Bioshock which came before it. Not to say Bioshock is a bad game but Dishonored did a lot of amazing things as well.

I feel bad for the officer who tried to make a conversation with the overseer

Emily’s big drawing of masked Corvo is really cool.

I don't get how Corvo's actions change the outcome of the sick Overseer situation. In the low chaos, he wants to die quick, but in the high chaos one he doesn't want to. Is it just that the Overseer's friend was killed in high chaos, so the one replacing him is a more brutal one?

The ultimate challenge is to do a Ghost run where there's no evidence of you even being there. No being seen, no dialogue, no killing and no more than one knockout per level. One person passing out is believable. More than one means someone was there. Optimally, no knockout at all except the target(s). The game is built to do ghost runs, and you get bonus points per stage for doing it.

Not so fun fact, but you can kill Samuel before/after his final speech in High chaos with no repercussions. If the player does this you will be greeted with an extra scene showing his grave during the ending,

In the end when Samuel said "Get off my boat" I was so peeved off at him I killed him with my sword right on the boat. Didn't know he would fire a pistol until now.

another thing about low and high chaos is in the golden cat. When you reach the top floor where one of the Pendleton twin is, You can hear the guards talk about your previous actions. The chat would go about how disciplined the masked felon is and that he might be one of Daud's men on low chaos. The chat turns to about merciless slaughterer on high chaos.

1:13 wait, Emily wrote daddy on top of Corvo's drawing? This is probably not intended. According to the lore Emily doesn't know that Corvo is her father in the first game, Calista in hound pits will hesitantly ask you about rumours about Corvo and the empress if you speak with her before any mission at the beginning.

I can't remember how ni played the first ever playthrough but I remember getting high chaos ending, but not the Samuel shooting the sky one

I also like how in high chaos, once completing a mission, and looking at your mission stats, whichever character you play as, Emily or Corvo, they’re portrait will be darker and have hints of blood on they’re face. However low chaos there is no blood, and they’re portrait is brighter. High chaos looks horrifying

You left out the ending mission. If doing it in high chaos thebfinal mission will be dark and stormy and there will be tallboys but if done in low chaos it will be sunny

Gotta love how the Lord Regent never put two and two together about how Corvo, a very dangerous man with six months' worth of reasons to hate him, breaks out of jail shortly before a masked felon/unknown assailant starts systematically neutralizing every other member of the conspiracy against the Empress and thinks "huh, maybe these two are related"

I really dislike stealth games in general, the first time i played through this game was on easy difficulty, and i played a genocide run, where i literally killed every NPC i came in contact with, lol.

I tried different ways: Kill everyone I meet, even ordinary residents and maids. Kill only targets. Kill everyone only with rats. Kill targets only with rats, but do not touch others. Don't kill or disable anyone(ghost). I played through the game without weapons, just abilities. Complete the game without abilities and weapons. It's quite interesting to play through this game in different ways and watch how various little things change, which you don’t notice on your first playthrough. Good game.
