Hi. Doing some music stuffs here. I am self-taught so all i know about music is basically just tabs. I do videos for hobby and when i feel it or have something new stuff to show so don't wait videos to show up all the time. Cheers!
Kiitos!

How Fender I Can Make My H&K Statesman Amp To Sound?
Переглядів 79 годин тому
I think i did pretty good job. Back then i had a Fender 59 Bassman clone (which you can hear in my older videos) and this what i tried in this video feels and sounds pretty close to that. Feel was looser and cleaner, like a Fender. #fender #demo #hughesandkettner

Not the best playing and not the best record quality for sure but it was time to test this and it was not that bad. I choose the lower speaker to aim the mic cause it end up sounding better for my taste. That Golden Plexi pedal works pretty well with this amp clean channel but amp own overdrive sounds little better tho. This amp has great master volumes because you don't lose tones even when pl...

It's pretty easy to record with phone but bad side is that, it doesn't record sound that good but doesn't crack like my Zoom Q2HD when going louder. Zoom concert setting is pretty good tho for louder recordings. I just need to try my Behringer mic to record sound with sound card and record video with phone. #hughesandkettner

More Marshall sounding maybe than H&K head, at least not as tight and little rounder. I'm gonna get real Marshall head someday for the stack but don't know yet is it gonna be 50 or 100w? I really like the sound of 100w but it's a monster. Anyway both will have master volume for sure. #marshallamplification #rikstone #demo

I had to. I have been dreaming this for so many years and i think that, now i had to do it or never. I mean get a 1960AX 4X12 Marshall cab with Greenbacks. I still need Marshall head on the stack but that's another day thing to do. Maybe i don't even need Marshall amp if this H&K will work enough fine? But who am i kidding ;) #marshallamplification #bedroom #guitarist

this is weird since it has the strat tone but kinda also sounds like an lp
Good demo but way too SHORT …even someone with adt would struggle to say it was too long ! More please
Haha 🙂 I don't have those pickups anymore.
Thanks for bringing up other wiring options. So many guitarists, especially in rock and metal, are happy with series wiring and that's it, probably because they don't know how to install pickups with the Triple Shot. I have a Jackson Warrior guitar with Dimebucker with a JB in the neck with Triple Shots. It really balances out well because of what you said--the JB changes a lot depending on how it is wired. In fact, I like the JB better in the neck than in the bridge. An Original Parallel Axis might be more my taste. I also have a BC Rich Mockingbird with a Custom/Custom 5 setup. Those two pickups change a lot too when used with Triple Shots. Very versatile, especially with a tone knob, phase switch, and killswitch.
Nice!
I hear heavy gain and bright. Depends how it works with pedals. Remember if you have a hotter pickup you can't go backwards. But if you have a less hot pickup you can boost it to more gain. So to me this one is not appealing.
Kävin hakkeen 3 xlr piuhaa niin nyt voi äänittää rumpuja ym 6 kanavaa kerrallaan myös Zoom F6:sella jossa paremmat Preampit

59 sounded the most balanced, theres nothing id change on it, bb was good but a bit weak and DiMarzio had way too much mids and sounded like a wah pedal, oddly i just bought bbs 1 and 2 to replace 59s just bc i like the look of pickup covers
498T 4 ever. 498T 4 life!
Liked it very much
Seymour Duncan has tightest note but less harmonic. DimarZio is good but I'd go with Gibson Burstbucker.
Ceramic its spike, alnico its round
The Bias tone I liked more because it had less digital fizz to it.
The JC is way tighter, even though it's lower gain it has more punch
Vielä kun soittaisit kokonaisia biisejä :D

Sounds good the best bang for buck Humbucker imo is the Mojotone 59 low wind.
Nice to know👍
Guessing the 57's would probably sound better clean and with a little breakup while the 59's would sound better with even more breakup/distortion and effects.
True
I bought a HB 35+ earlier this year and somehow something happened to the wiring and now there's no signal coming out... I have no idea how to open up the guitar to do any soldering. Any tips?
Oh man 😐 I bet there's just some soldering off. Semi hollow guitars doesn't have any hole on the back like les pauls and others (for some reason) and that's why every thing that you need to do to electronics you have to do through those holes from guitars top (the F holes) and that is a pain in the ass, unless you do a hole to back like i did 😅 If you put something on the hole to cover it (if you do one) then the guitar sounds as good as before without hole. If you don't do a hole then only option is to watch tutorials here UA-cam how you reach the electronics of semi hollow.
Like the neck tone.
What do you think about the EMG HZ-2 vs the J50BC. I have a J50BC im debating installing in my Edwards Scythe
HZ-2 is tight sounding. It's okay pickup with boost. You should try J50BC then before if you have it. In the end both are very close to each other. J50BC is little smoother.
EMG’s H4 pickup is really cool too. They say it’s high output but it’s really a medium output pickup with a rail design so you get dynamic response without the pickup sounding really loose or flubby. It sounds incredible boosted with a Boss SD-1, and usually I’m not much of a Tube Screamer fan but it works great with a tube screamer too. The DiMarzio PAF would probably sound good with an SD-1, too. It should be able to give the pickups enough compression for your playing to remain tight all the while keeping the dynamics of the pickups intact.
Hi. Yeah i thought that, i try EMG H4 because it seems to be okay but then i decide to try Jackson J50BC with my ESP MM-04 boost and those works great and i still have those in this guitar. I think Alexi Laiho played that Tuska 2003 gig with EMG H4 pickup because that is the era where he got his first ESP signature model guitar and it doesn't have any boost (maybe) in his guitar, or at least it's not showing on the guitar outside.
I mag swap but don't heven't tried short' mags... etc?? thanks for posting this.
What amp did you use?
Marshall 2061X clone.
@@kuitaristi3003 nice!

What are you using in the neck? The Dimarzio sounds great
Hi. Dimarzio 59 PAF neck and 57 Classic neck. It was Dimarzio 59 PAF set and 57 Classic set in this video.
Thanks awesome tone
What pickup are you using in the neck?
I've never heard a Gibson pickup that I haven't Loved.
Gibson pickups are good indeed. It's just matter of taste when talking about pickups because almost every pickup maker has it's own sound.🙂
PAF for the win sounds more open
Great.Now I want both. 🤣😇🥰😋💝💯👍
Hi Whats the amp that you are using? Thanks
Hi. It's PC program named BIAS FX2 and Marshall JMP modeling
This is great, thanks! Im considering using the JE jackson preamp with mine, but now im not sure lol
Hi. If you have Jackson JE then you should use that. Anyway JE and MM04 is pretty much same, JE just has little more mids maybe, or at least i have heard. MM04 is very good too so you can't go wrong either.
@@kuitaristi3003 Thanks for the input man! Im probably gonna use it since i wanna have my charvel stock
You're just playing the amp. What is it - what are the settings?
Hi. It's made by Rikstone Amps and it was Clone of Fender 59 Bassman as 1X12 form (settings i don't remember). Don't have it anymore now i have Marshall 2061X clone by same maker.
Works well
Awesome video, really appreciate the part of the Hatecrew family who are tone nerds just like me. I use the EMG ABQ and even though Alexi didn't really use it himself, I feel it's a perfect mix of what sound inspired me the most and what I need as lead in my band.
Hi. Yeah ABQ is cool booster. Little darker than ESP MM-04, but just a little not much. ABQ's cool feature is that, you can use it with passive AND active pickups, tho with active ABQ is off but you can use both type pickups still. When using any passive pickup just put same type EMG cable head than EMG ALX has and then put it top the same place where ALX pickup goes.
It all sounds like shit.
Please, amp?
Rikstone made 5F6A 59 Bassman 1x12 clone. Speaker was Celestion G12 Neo Creamback. Don't have that amp anymore.
thanks sir, nice video ! @@kuitaristi3003
Looking for a Hendrix tone, what do you recommend? 69 pikups or 65 pikups?
@@gamythealchemyst6348 69
I take note of your advice, however, you have the closest tone I have heard in years until now, even though it is not the best sound recording. Maybe it is due to your way of playing? Maybe it's due to the amplifier? I'm really impressed in that sense, I appreciate your videos and your time in answering. Maybe I'll choose to buy the 65, it's certainly a good tone in my opinion. Excuse my English, I am from Spain. Is it okay if I keep asking you questions about your team and your opinion on it? thank you.@@kuitaristi3003
Modern wiring when rolling back the volume will darken the tone even if tone is on 10 50's will retain the tone level You should try 500k vol pots if not already and then you will hear what the 57's really sound like for the better
Hi. Yes i know those things and i use 500k pots with 50's wiring. It was 500k pots in this video too.
I use an ordinary squier affinity strat with single coils and also myself i have a fairly good metal sound. Often alnico pickups are brighter than cheap stock ceramics that i find more useful with high gain.
How do they sound in the room?
These sounds great in room. I like the headroom of Anniversary but it's pretty bright. It has it's own character for sure. Good if you need bigger sound from 1X12 cab. G12H Anniversary is like mix of G12H Heritage and alnico speaker. Heritage again is mix of Greenback and Anniversary. Greenback is it's own thing.
For me, it's the best Head I ever played - since 2013 my main Amp on bigger Gigs! :D I love the opportunity to play a fender-ish Clean Sound with a massive, dirty up-to highgain Drivesound! Easy to handle, so dynamic to play and so flexible in Sound! :D Nice Video! :)
Thanks! Agreed. Very versatile amp and for sure and enough volume and gain for pretty much anything. I like Marshall amps most and this sounds very close. Only issue is that, it's PCB machine, but of course if it's made up well maybe it endure? I usually like hand wired amps more cause it's easier and quicker to fix if something break down.
The 59 gives you a tad more midrange to cut through 💪
Whole lotta humbuckers

PLEASE TELL ME what did you use to cover the neck pickup cavity
Contact plastic but i didn't find exact same color as this guitar so i end up to put band stickers on the body.
@@kuitaristi3003do you mean contact paper anyway my guitar is satin/matt Black do you think IT would be easy to make IT look normal btw i saw Ur alexi amplitude video and thought IT was great
@@krystian_went8537 Well maybe like contact paper but my is plastic. Maybe contact paper is better than plastic for your guitar if you find same or close color. Satin is the hard part to get match the guitar color with these contact things. If you find right color then cut right size piece and put it on the neck pickup hole to cover it. Thanks :) Here is this guitar these days with Jackson J50BC ua-cam.com/video/8-zDwia-QNw/v-deo.html And here with EMG81 ua-cam.com/video/agfxEx7JUGw/v-deo.html
@@kuitaristi3003 can i ask why you took out the alexi signature pickup
@@krystian_went8537 I'm just so curious to try different things that's pretty much the reason 😅 But i like this old Jackson J50BC a little more than EMG ALX cause J50 is little smoother. EMG one is really close still to J50BC and little tighter sounding too. What comes to EMG ALX booster it's little darker sounding than ESP MM04 so i end up to MM04. Not big difference but still a difference.
Put the 85 in the bridge, for better sound. My LTD has only 22 frets.
Hi. Don't have 85 anymore but what i have hear from some videos here youtube i think i like 81 still more. These days i have jackson j50bc in bridge + esp mm04 boost.
