The Only 1967 Shelby Mustang G.T. 500 Convertible Ever Made
Переглядів 5 тис.Рік тому
The Gilmore Car Museum is currently home to Brian Styles' 1 of 1 1967 Shelby Mustang G.T. 500 Convertible. The relationship between Shelby and Ford was a rocky one. Because of that only one of these was produced. It served as Carol Shelby's personal car, and even wore 1968 Shelby G.T. sheetmetal for some time.

Model T Driving Experience at Gilmore Car Museum
It would have been nice to have seen the car for more than a couple of seconds instead of all the talking heads. Still, a very cool car a great story!
Mr Wheeler should feel good about those stories. Thank you for sharing the experience as a volunteer, especially in ways we don't often think of.
Wonderful, thank you for sharing
Love the Spyder wheels, great choice.
Made the 2024 event, sadly no videos…
Dort sounds like it should be the name of a character in a role playing game. Nice looking car.
I ran across one of those years ago, sitting in the barn it had no side markers like a 68 does so I’m assuming it was a 67 Shelby convertible 1:47
I WANT TO WORK WITH YOU...CAN I MAKE VIDEOS FOR YOU
The greatest margue of all time, and of course my favorite brand. Those 48-50 wagons look better to me without those side wood panels.
Good for joe!!! He has REAL good friends!
Those RIMS ?
Do you know Paul Inuario that has a fantastic car collection too.
Very nice program, looks like a very fine display. There are two other Midwest located Packard museums, one in Dayton, another in Warren , Ohio.
Yes, those museums are too close together and should be combined.
Gilmore Car Museum 6865 Hickory Road, Hickory Corners, MI 49060 Today, the Gilmore Car Museum is North America's largest auto museum with over 400 vehicles on display and over 190,000 square feet of exhibit space. The Museum’s 90-acre Historic Campus features numerous vintage structures including a restored and fully-functioning 1941 Silk City Diner, a recreated 1930s Shell Station, six onsite Partner Museums, and so much more.
The Gilmore needs a Packard Museum in it's own showroom and a model T pavilion to connect with the A hall. It is a great museum...perhaps the premier automobile museum in the world.
Greetings from Ontario Canada thanks for sharing this video it makes sense about using UA-cam especially during cov19
Stage1 Buick with a stick I could make a ground men tear up.sweet😎
I'm trying honestly mod my 1966 Buick Special nut everything now is so outrageously expensive that it is a huge task, and I'm not getting any younger, and I'm certainly not wealthy, but I grew up Buick. My father was a Buick executive in the service and of the company, and was my idol. He was killed in an unfortunate accident and another reason why I want to build this car which is also missing alot of the factory parts, mostly interior, but that is repairable along with all off the other things that need to be done, God willing and alot of help from very few people, I pray that I can get it done.
We will help you !!! We can find parts somehow sorry re’ your father
I couldn't think of a more deserved car to be restored! Any Buick stage one or Gran Sports in general should be restored if they can be.
That guy has one fatty liver .
Real Car... Real Friends.. God Bless 🙏
"promo sm" 💦
Paul's videos on UA-cam are a treasure. He even gets his wife Tina to participate showing that it's not just guys who can work on and enjoy these cars.
Beautiful GS !
Paul this is not related to this topic, but my question is, my 31 Model A truck is leaning to the drivers side, any recommendations to check problem areas? Thank you!
Those are true friends!
Thank you to The Gilmore Auto Museum for being so kind and generous! Making Model A videos to help others is a sincere pleasure. Thank you for watching! Will UA-cam ever replace my full time job? No. The Model A niche is too narrow. I do it for you, not for me.
You got me back into the A experience thanks.
Paul Your shows are addicting 👍. I've owned my Model a 24 years now -- i have been able to accomplish more to it since watching your show ( hum i don't know how long I've been watching now ) but as much as possible ! Thank you for what you do - truly a blessing to old car world . Matt
Paul's face is going to be hurting after all that smiling. You can truly see joy on his face. Gillmore Auto Museum is his Graceland.
Some day I will get there. Hey Paul, great to see you!
I belong to a very active club here in Minnesota. I have had the opportunity to give a number of tech sessions on a number of topics about the Model A. There for I get calls from club members to help them through an issue they are having. In most cases I send them to look at one of your videos on the subject. I had the privilege to witnessing firsthand you putting one of your video’s together and all the work that goes into it. Thanks so much for all you do for the hobby. God bless you and Tina. You make a great team. Steve I know you are having a great time at Gilmore
A fabulous museum with very rare and expensive cars. These cars are more than mere transportation; they are works of art. Rolling works of art made in an era of hand built craftsmanship. Excellence on display for everyone to see and enjoy. My head is still spinning trying to comprehend all that I have seen. One word for those of whom are on the fence: GO! You will not be disappointed. I agree with Paul, simply fabulous.
Well said!
A great museum surrounded by fabulous museums. My oldest son and I just toured it, a beautiful Model A museum, an incredible Pierce arrow collection and early automobiles in profusion. Don't miss the Piquette museum while you are in the area .
Thanks for sharing your experience!
Since I discovered your videos I am very interested in getting into the Model A hobby!
Thanks Paul, I love your videos. I am in South Africa and really enjoy your ability to simplify the mechanics of these old fords. Thank you for a very interesting channel. Keep going from strength to strength
Paul you and Tina have done more for the Model A hobby than anyone. Thank you for your helpful videos and entertainment. God bless you.
I always enjoy every video that Paul puts out. I am currently subscribed to his channel, I had his video come up in my UA-cam homepage. They must have seen something in my videos that I was selecting to subscribe to that put his as an option to watch, whatever the reason, I am glad it happened. Stand up guy with a ton of great advice. Thanks for sharing, thank you Paul for all you do and are doing!
Paul - without a doubt, your are my Model A HERO!!!
Paul that WAS LONG AND SHORT
I appreciate your videos I have a 1929 and 1930 model A 2 door tudor. I am looking to get either a model AA or BB but are hard to find.
I’m finding the same issue.
please reupload the video. Clip ends at 2:50 and then runs black.
World War 2 was won by the Rolls-Royce Merlin V 12 airplane engines Packard made.
