IDLES - DANCER (Guitar Cover)
Super catchy song off the new IDLES album TANGK. No too sure about the final chord played on guitar two, but I think this is close and it still sounds good.
Guitar one is tuned to A# standard and guitar two is turned to E standard.
Guitar audio from a Squire Classic Vibe Baritone Custom Telecaster, and a Squire Classic Vibe Custom Telecaster into a Focusrite 2i2 with biasfx2.
Video through a Nikon Zfc with a 28mm f2.8 lens.

Guitar cover of a classic Plumtree song. Not perfect by any means, but I watched Scott Pilgrim recently and this (along with the rest of the soundtrack) got stuck in my head. An ok cover of a great Cheekface song. Probably not how Greg plays it, but it sounds mostly right to me. Great cover, man. What DAW and modeling software are you using? Modeler looks like Positive Grid, but I don't recognize the DAW.
Thanks! Good eye, Bias FX 2 for modelling and Ableton Live for the DAW.
What pedals did you use ?
This is recorded through an interface with my PC and modelling software, so technically no pedals. In the modelling software guitar one runs through a splitter into a Friedman BE100 and a Peavey 6505, and guitar two runs through a Ibanez Tube Screamer into Fender Twin Reverb with a Boss DD-3 for delay.

What settings do you use on your amp for the song
I used an audio interface to my pc and some software called bias fx 2 to record this. The amp in bias fx I used was a British Lead 800, which is modelled on the Marshall JCM800. If it helps the settings were; gain : 7, bass: 5, mid: 4. treble: 6, presence: 5

Really spot on! Are those the original pickups in that strat? The colour has me thinking they might be antiquities?
Thank you! I believe the pickups are original, they seem to match the info I can find for what the 90's MIJ strats had in them. Looks like they've gone quite yellow from sunlight over the years to me.
