hello, i use the omnipod 5 and normally use the dexcom g6 and now using libre 2 plus but it doesn't let me switch it over

Suggesting people wear the pod or sensor on their ass when you have to wear pants, bend over, and drive a car, is absolutely wild

A good video but it needs to emphasise that you need a "libre 2 plus POD" compatible to the libre 2 plus sensor, not a Dexcom g6 one. It was the Omnipod customer adviser who realised I was using the wrong pod! Once working is very good. The libre 2 plus pods are a recent upgrade in UK. Check top right hand side on the back of the BOX❤ for compatibility or on the label on each POD.

Why does this show sensor on back of arm but pod can go on belly. Your customer advises say this can’t be done. Why do you say you can add a new same make sensor without the need for a pod change yet your customer advisors say this can’t be done either. Your advisors are either right or wrong and this video is either right or wrong. Which is it?

This is a great device, but really lacks the fact no one else can view data from their phone. Libre view was always that way for Libre sensor and family members would be notified should you go into hypoglycaemia. This has been removed with the OP5 and libre sensor 2+ and has taken away one of the most important features of viewing data. Please work together on this and make it happen then it’ll be the icing on the cake.

Says it needs to be in line of sight for the CGM sensor. Considering the Libre 2+ is only changed every 15 days and the omnipod 5 is changed every 3 days, that’s 5 omnipod 5 pods required for one sensor. The libre sensor 2 plus can only be put on the back of the arm further reducing any other location placements for the pod. Line of sight means you’ll need to put the pod pretty much in the same place, which goes against placing it in a different location and alternate placement. So although this is ground breaking, the user friendly after thought wasn’t really addressed.

I can’t find a video that shows how to add the insulin, or how often you have to change the pod. I was extremely interested in this unit but after watching the videos it seems you have to carry around another iPhone sized controller. This to me is a no no. If the app was available on an iPhone I would have been at the front of the queue. But having to carry the equivalent of two iPhones, my iPhone and the pod controller, puts me off.

I moved from the Dash to the Omnipod 5 a week ago. It’s a huge step forward again! Not one hypo and in range 94 to 100% every day. All this and I’m only on the 3rd pod! Long may it last! 👍🏻🙏💕
