Usually the simulation is applied before the solidiy modifier

hi shiko! much thanks for a tutorial about assests! I'm wondering, if I want to change a 1x2 french row medium into a low zone is it possible? is it sharable as a mod? I tried it with my nonexistant knowledge of modding and the building is missing after I plop the custom asset after one session. I'm asking you because you seem like you know what you're doing. If you dont know thats okay. Thanks for the video!

Nice. Basically follow the instructions from CO/Pdx that have been there a while and now there's actually an Editor version that will let you import them. Loving the look there Shiko! (and funny seeing reversing cars at one point too)

I know you can't share to PDX mods, but what would stop someone from sharing the core files to google drive or wherever and then import everything in asset editor?
Nothing... once loaded you will get prefabs with CIDs like any other Editor construction. These can be packaged and shared via Google drives or Discord or however you like.
@@tigonologdring9189 Have you tested that? Afaik sharing them is the part that doesn't work yet, it only works locally.
@@Mimonsi I tested uploading an asset to PDX with custom mesh and it seems to be working. The problem is the virtual texturing is not present so the asset will have performance issues
@@rodrigmatrix Oh really? Which one would that be? I thought I'd been keeping up with your mods
@@Mimonsi I uploaded and removed it. But it basically had a StreamingData folder with the prefab and mesh textures inside. I got a reply from REV0 saying this shouldn't be done through because of the optimization😢

我覺得最好唔好出，收唔收錢都好，而家OMSI界冇版權意識，有機會隨便比人resource整拼圖map（詳情UA-cam Search OMSI片 )，收埋錢仲蝕底，浪費時間同心血。
要收錢，就算upload上Steam做DLC，除非有買家驗證機制，確保玩家係買咗同唔可以轉讓俾人，仲要考慮做商業用途嘅合法性，都有排搞
