This is a song for our 6/13 Ukeladies Jam. It's in the Leap Year Blue Book p 106. I was unfamiliar with this song but now I love it! It's a fun, upbeat, short song! I played through first with single strum then played through with a DDU kind of swing strum.

This is from Cynthia Lin's beginner Lessons. I love this song and I have it memorized! I did make mistakes in some of the chords for sure but I kept going which is what I'm trying to learn!

This is a slower version of King of the Road (more like Roger Miller's) and it has a different segue back into verse one after the bridge with 8 downs (I did a little down up on the 8th strum and add "I sing") on the D7 before going back to Trailer for Sale.....

This is from the Yellow Daily Ukulele Book. I may be a little fast from the original recording from Roger Miller but you can always slow the video down a little. I just like playing it at this tempo myself. Sorry for the poor lighting!

Ok, this is maybe weird, I dunno... You strike me as a med doc, by day? No idea why. Maybe it's the cancer patient in me, thinking? Maybe it's your watch? 😄 Anyway, thanks for these videos! I'm trying to pick up guitar, and Uke, both right now.
No, not a med doc. :-) Good luck with the guitar and the uke! Personally I like the ukulele better because it's easier and more portable than the guitar. We also have several large ukulele groups in our area and it's so much fun playing in a group!
Sorry it took forever to respond. I missed the notification apparently. Happens to me a lot. 😄I agree on your points, for sure. But, you see, my father passed last summer, and he left me with a Martin HD-28. I gotta pick it up and play it, don't I? 😄 I'm going to watch a bunch of your videos I've yet to watch, hopefully before the weekend is over. Thx for making all of these. they will be a great help to me, in understanding the mechanics of the Uke. When I'm just jamming on Uke, I prefer traditional A D F# B tuning. ❤@@WestminsterUkeladies
