Famous knock by Botham, but also, Dilley was seeing it like an airship that day. Giving Lillee the long handle like he was a minor counties trundler!

increadible documentary really informative and insightful seeing clips of my old area debeauvior were i grew up as a child was heart warming southern debeauviour town should have never been replaced by the tower blocks as well as st Nicholas square in haggerston hackney council planneing developers and thoes middle class architects have got a lot to answer for plus they never live in the estates and tower blocks themselves , they prefer the terraced housing , semi aand detached housing but no problem replacing them with towerblocks there not prepared to live in

I was born in Stratford, lived near West Ham Station on the 60s, moved to Canning Town in 70s Now living in Dalbeattie in SW Scotland, its lovely here I will never return to East London, its a ribbish tip now. Full of foreigners. No white faces hardly.

190,000 immigrants in Britain in 1959, now we don't have a clue with 30,000-50,000 arriving by boat every year now.

Mike Brearly and kim Hughes, what superb sportsmen and gentlemen. It was close, of course given such great sides but such graciousness in victory and defeat. Awesome attitude both sides.

I would not want to be in line to catch anything of the middle of Beefy’s bat. Robin Smith had a ferocious square cut but all of Beefy’s middles shots were like rockets.

This explains why people still had hard feelings toward America because we hardly helped the UK until after Dec 7, 1941. The UK was really being pounded hard but America only entered the war after Pearl Harbor was attacked.

I know the Hero British Forces fought against Fascism in Europe but they must be turning in their graves to see the East,West,North and South of this once great Capital City we still call London. I was born in 1973 in Walworth and its changed beyond recognition, I would go as far to say its a shithole now like most of London. I hate it, its not my London anymore. Shame!

My nan and grandad sent my aunt and uncles to be evacuated but after a few month's my nan was sent to get the kids because they were having a hard time .luckily tyey all made it through the war. I have so much respect for our ancestors who went through both world wars and Winston Churchill. My parents were born in London
