New Manor Lord maps look good, but the overal gameplay still hasn't won me over. I prefer playing without the janky combat, so the only way for me to expand takes AGES. Waiting for the balancing to to get touched up. I'm VERY excited for Foundations 1.0 though. I bought the game back when it first launched on EA and have been loving it constantly through development. The pathway system is honestly the best in the genre I think. Makes every city feel actualy unique with how they path around compared to just finding a system that works and ONLY using that.

For me, I am most interested in full release news or post release patches. Manor lords is on my radar but it will be while before I give it a serious look. Foundations will be good to finally play in a few months, I'll probably wait for a good sale and see what the updates look like by then, and if they have DLC announcements by then that would push it back further. I really am against the trend of buying half finished games, and hoping they change into something better before I grow tired of them, as well as I am tired of being Nickeled and dimed by DLC. I tend to favor Quality over Quantity these days, so getting a game that is finished, and no longer being updated is the best Quality I can hope for, and making sure it was not just abandoned as well.

I'm not sleeping on New Cycle. I've just decided never ever to pay for Early Access games again. If your game is free and EA fine, but I'm done giving money over to things pre 1.0 because too many times has the thing died on the vine, and a surprising number of times the finished product had so many baked in messes in terms of mechanics that they couldn't scrap because people have paid into or it ended up not being why I initially liked it to begin with. Finished product or bust for me from now on.

manor lords bridges have a problem with troops crossing..and the food is now distributed from the warehouse and graneries hence you have to keep the markets area down to just 6 stalls or the game filles the 1st market with empty stalls if you put about 20 stall spaces..Doh bad programing. ( small is beautiful it seems )

Funnily enough I just started another playthrough of Ostriv yesterday, its also had some updates. Give that one some love Renee.

Looks great! I'm very excited for New Cycle in particular. The only suggestion I can give for videos is that cutaway gags are by definition distracting and should only really be used - in my opinion - when they're genuinely great. The Star Wars one... ehh!

It's all fun and games until the mice parachute in. I recommend deploying the Tactical Cats.

Generaly, any airfield would be build by building crew with suplied building resources and they would leave for other projects afterwards. If it was more of temporary/frontline airfield, it would be Engineers job to build, where local resources would be used way more, depending on how stable the logistic and suply would be in the area. Scavenging for food is actualy on the more acurate side of things, since its military base it would be receiving regulary suplies, but lot of veterans talk about how they used their off time or free days to go hunting for food around their bases, as military kitchen isn't exactly known for tasty food.
