This video is great. I just want to add the final step to remove the seats. In the trunk, there's black handle on each side. Pull them, and it will release the seats.
I hope you are right because this video stopped before it showed the solution to the problem. They do NOT just lift up and off as he says...as the video conveniently cuts off before solving the problem. About to pull trunk covers loose to look for the black handles you speak of.
after bolts and screws are taken out you have to loosen the plastic shroads where the seat belts go through the seat. Let them fall through the holes and pull the seat up and out. there are two small plastic tabs holding the rear shelf on. remove those and pull the shelf out. if your trying to access the fuel pump you need to use a drimmel to cut away material to allow full access.
the hint at the end to LIFT the back of the seat is what I was waiting for - I didn't find part " - so - - I hope it works - back to mine - - to swap Sovereign interior into a std XJ8 - BIG job - (including al trim and dashboard)

10k views and only 58 likes? That’s some bullshit! Thanks a million! I was locked out of the trunk with the battery disconnected! My Bone head move.
Thanks for the video! Im having custom interior work done on my Jag and this video helped a ton!
Say you could revise the title of video to XJ6 - X300 As it is the same Process in mmy x300 xj6 1997 . I am trying to install a sub woofer and amp.
Looking for part 2, where the seat back actually comes out....

I guess the camera person shut the video off when you started swearing and cussing when you couldn't get the seat pulled up like me.
