Since your original video on these, I've had them in mind in case I decide to get into climbing sticks. I'm hunting out west so there's only a select few scenarios where this makes sense. Any good lightweight stands to pair with this or is this best complimented with a saddle rig?

Man, I bought and return this item and it killed me to do it. I absolutely loved it, except for the fact that I could not get the top of the pack to ride close to my back. It always set at an angle away from my back. As I watched the video you were doing the same thing I was doing, putting your hands under the straps and pulling them in, and forward. When I would not do this, the pack rode off my upper back. It is do to the length of the straps and the shortness of the pack. Where a backpack is longer the straps connect further apart allowing a flush fit. All of this is fixed with better straps, and a horizontal chest strap. Such an easy fix and my hope is that this is standard on the next version. Also its in bottomland, my favorite pattern! It killed me to return it.

Great video.. It truly is a completely different product that has hit the market for saddle hunting. I bought one a couple weeks ago and have gotten really used to it and I love the quality of the bag and the silence of it, though I do feel that the bow hook and quiver hook that comes with. It is extremely cheap and would not recommend hanging a couple thousand dollar bow 20 feet from the ground with them.

You didn’t like the tactacam when you started. The images you showed weren’t close at all. Tactacam was in a lot more Sun. I’ve got the tactacam because, I’m just a retired old guy. It takes big cas h to own the trigger cam. I can do with a little less for 250.

What’s up Matt. I got my Pack Rat Saddle Pack a month or so back and love it. I agree with you 100% though and feel the chest strap and the double buckles are really the only down falls. That would be a great tool for fishing trips too. First thing that came to my mind was storing a tackle box or small cooler on the back shelf and rod holder where the front basket is. Great video!
