Pull the leaf out that you have fitted on the top the original lower load leaf and put it back on the bottom and make sure it is loaded against the leaf above it. Because as the car accelerates the diff pinion will pull upwards the leaf will fix that basically a home made caltrack.

chuck a steel el wagon tail shaft in it. I kept snapping alloy ones in my au wagon. put a steel el wagon one in did 100s of skids no issue afterwards

this mod works for all BTR 4 speeds and is identical to do for those wondering the only differences with the v8 box externally is the input shaft is more betterer clutches and bands are internally stronger apparently but this job is the same for all BTR bongas

for those wondering more line pressure wont hurt the box can pop seals if u go too far but thats just common sense you will probably hurt something behind the gearbox before u pop seals out tho
