Nice gun, but i wonder ...in your country is not a bad luck to spray salt arround? In my country, spill or spray salt on the floor, is bad luck, so i like the gun, but because the salt, i guess i wont buy this...
I believe it's bad only if you accidentally spill it. If it's being used on purpose, it's no different than throwing salt on food. See en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spilling_salt I use a hand vacuum to clean the salt and flies up.

Totally humane solution that works to discourage mice and rats from entering... peppermint & cinnamon oil but has to be the right variety. This one works great and available on Amazon. Lazy Cat Rodent Repellent

Fyi....I discovered mice were accessing my house through the dryer exhaust vent outside and put a screen over it. They were bypassing the little rubber stopper like a doggie door. If you use a screen, be mindful of removing lint that may build up there with a vacuum or lint wand.

Hello Jonathan, Michael, Unfortunately Silicon is not as readily available in Silicon Valley as it used to be. The mines are running low because all the miners(data) are on strike because of the recent Pepsi Cola commercial. Although you can get the Silicon at your local auto shop.
I was on the fence about purchasing these after my previous Firestone's exploded, causing a roll-over/vehicle fire. But I'm definitely going to buy these now... I might even get 4 of them. Thank you Fernando!
