How To: Chevy Impala Cabin Air Filter
I Changed All Throttle Body And Throttle Position Sensor, And Replaced The Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor, And My Car Still Doing The Engine Power Reduced After A Few Minutes Of Running!!!! 2010 Chevy Impala
The cricket needs to be evicted from the throttle body. 🦗🦗🦗🦗
After I did that, I got an extra 6 miles per gallon. Can You believe that??
What about 2005 gmc 1500 4x4 limp mode
Thank You! Great sense of humor too!
I litteraly had no clue about the throttle relearn procedure
I been having this problem lately PCM stands for power control module, which is the computerized central processing unit (CPU) of a car's system. It's a control unit that manages the engine, transmission, and other systems based on information it receives from sensors around the vehicle. The PCM is essentially a computer that operates in binary and acts like an "if then" function. For example, if the PCM receives a certain signal from a sensor, its programming will prompt it to do something. If it doesn't receive that signal,
2007 HHR CHEVROLET. JUST DID IT THIS EVENING 1ST TIME
Cost me $800 to get this done when i was 450 miles from home. Nearly cost me my life on the side of I-10 where the speed limit is 70 mph
Don't forget the last step guys it's critical
GM is a corrupt bunch of bastards..Every module on that piece of shit you call a car requires a reset which will cost you over a 100$...GM produces pure garbage....
Great video, great step by step instructions. Good job!!!
i subscribed my man, your funny as shit.
I've changed the crankshaft sensor and now the throttle body with no luck in fixing the issue?! any suggestions?!
Need more info. Year and make of car. Does it run at all?
GMC??? Never had Power to start with😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Don't forget about the 2006 Chevy Malibu!
Like the video and humour with it, sometimes or most of the times I want to throw a dynamite, can't get one. I do believe this method will work on Volvo S60, as I currently have this problem.
Already changed the parts and it still won't start. What's the issue do I need to clear the codes for it to start
Did ya fix it
THANK YOU SR.!!!
2003 Cts reduced power😢😮
Where do you buy the kit
A match and a stick of dynamite 🤣😂🤣 then later kick the car 🤣😂🤣 a little humor is good, also great video, thorough walkthrough, you made everything look easy 👍
No the problem is the accelerator pedal sensor
No. P2135 throttle position sensor. P2138 is the accelerator position sensor.
What is the name of the sensor? The throttle body sensor
It’s called a throttle body sensor or TPS
Thank you for providing this to all car victims, I mean car owners… victims
Currently broken down in Florida heat I needed that in swift kick 😂. Made me feel better about the situation
No codes pop up. Only issue i have other then that is bank 1 and bank 2 with is my catalytics need to be replaces.. smh
Those catalytic converters may be clogged up. That can cause your issue
U think the cats might cause my reduce engine issue?
@@braulioresendiz8731 it could be the problem.
Wow.. never thought that. I was thinking of getting a brand name throttle body position sensor and see but my cats are gonna be too expensive I think..
@@braulioresendiz8731 I know a trick. Try drilling a small 1/8th inch hole in the upstream side of the catalytic converter. See if there is an improvement
I have a 2010 buick enclave i bought an amazon throttle body with built in sensor. Looked like it worked fine for a month an boom light came on. I have no code for it that came on. Please help
Check engine light or reduced power light?
Stabili trak and reduce engine power. Triangle light pops up
Thanks for the tutorial. I think this is what's wrong with my 2003 GMC Sierra. 🤦🏼♀️ Glad I'm a red head...🤣
Mine was the pedal position sensor. Tried the throttle body and it didn’t fix it. Try the pedal position sensor.
Hey guy. I have a question. My son and i own a 08 impala 3.9. He is the mechanic and im the bank. 😊 After replacing the sensor kit, am I able to drive it to a shop to get the ecm re programed, thorattle learn reset? Want to be sure before changing it and finding out it can't be driven. The shop is about 189 miles away from me. Let me know, thanks.
The ECM should be ok. The throttle will re learn on its own. 2011 and up you need to take it to the dealer. Good luck!
Dayane quit his workin 😂😂
How can you know than the sensor is bad ?
I did that to mine!! Didn't work!! Till I kicked it!! Worked!!Lol
It's important. Don't over look it. Wear steel toe boots if you need to.
that kick at the end 🤣
no matter what, you're amazing and your videos are very informative
Gotta love this man’s humor 😂😂
Actuator
Would this cause the car. To basically die I had a pullover turned off the car turn it back on then it worked just fine again. Having the same issue in a 2007 Pontiac G6
Did you get a "reduced engine power" message on the dash before it died?
@@lifeafterlife8417 yes it did. it's always on.
Scan for codes. P2135 means change the TPS.@@XianCosmo
My 2012 GMC Acadia has this problem
Kick it! Just kidding. Scan it for codes and get back to me.
My 2008 Chevy Impala Lt just showed Engine reduced while I was driving back home from work Pissed me off Owned this car since 2019 And every year it's been A money problem I've even been homeless in this car I really don't want it to go
Get it scanned for codes. Let me know.
@@lifeafterlife8417 It was the throttle body I changed it Thanks to your video Thanks
I have a Chevy Impala 2012 I’m getting code P228c.
High pressure fuel pump solenoid
Dynamite an tire kick haha I'm about to use a can of gas on my truck. I changed my throttle sensor an truck still dose power reduce?
Fun fact I have a gmc at4 2023 and I already have this problem even though I got it in July
How long did you keep the vehicle after you "think" you fixed this problem? Because reduced engine power can come and go. Quickly. Or take months to reappear. This MIGHT not be the actual fix.
It had an actual tps failure (code p2135) so replacing it fixed the problem. I drove the car 3 years with no issues. The transmission failed so I replaced that. I then sold the car to a friend. He’s still driving it today at 220,000 miles.
It’s happening to my 2017 suburban. And it’s shaking like crazy when on. Showing p0206 as the code.
Fuel injector number six misfire. Check the wiring. Could be the injector itself.
OMFG you freaked me out with the stick of dynamite 🤣 mines a 2008 Chevy Impala 3.5
Excellent video, just did this yesterday for my 06 Monte Carlo outside in 20 degree weather. Super easy repair and resolved my issues.
Don't over dramatize it it's three boats and two fucking hose connectors
Try this if car shows that message and shuts down on the side of the road: with the key in the on position (car not running) disconnect both battery terminals and while disconnected touch the terminals together (not to the battery) a couple times. After a minute o two reconnect the battery and restart the car, hopefully that resets the sensors and computer and drive home safely
