I am now to reading the bible I am trying to finish the old testament before I start the new testament not having a reading plan at all aman I don't want to stat reading something els at this time

I can't seem to use the digital concordances I use strong's or Spiro's zodhiates Greek word study new testament I find it easier to use the paper book than the digital versions

I am not doing a new bible reading plan this year either. I am continuing from last year. It's good to hear someone else say this! I have other incomplete studies to finish as well. I love the bookmark from Shirley! You have great bible reading plan, I love the monthly. Love your flexibility. ❤

I truly think the Jan 1st Bible plans are from satan. He sets it up so we fail every year. This year I’m continuing to write the New Testament every word verse chapter and book. I love slowing down and reading and writing every word. I’m scribing the book of Mathew now. I also have a verse mapping and soap work books for verses God puts on my heart. I have the NLT red chron in a year and not going to listen to satan this year. Thank you for your video. Blessings.

I started reading in 2023, finished November of 2024. In December of 24 I started Genesis. Currently in Exodus. I’m reading along, following Gary Hamrick on YT. My “ devotional” is the Chronological study Bible by Tyndale. I if a skip a day, I just pick back up where I left off. I’m in NO RUSH and some days I don’t open either book I just listen to relaxing music and rest. I love how everyone has different ways. Thank you for sharing!

I failed miserably as a young teen trying to keep a diary because if I missed one day, I felt like a big loser and then gave up on it totally! I have never read the Bible all the way through, and I decided that this year would be "the year." I read a Charles Stanley devotional every morning, and one day, I noticed that there is a Bible reading plan at the bottom of each page, so I decided to follow that this year. So far, so good ... lol! It goes straight through the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation.

I really relate to what you say about strictly going by dates. That throws me off too and found that I tended to avoid devotionals with dates because I would feel like a failure when I didn’t keep up. Now I just ignore the dates and read whatever appeals to me. I haven’t read any paper books in a while (I hope to get back into that). Instead I’ve been doing alot of electronic reading. Thanks for sharing those resources.

Even though there is a lot of hate and vitriol towards the NIV it’s the translation that took me to Jesus. Even though I use other translations for my Bible study, my daily reader is the NIV.

This is such a simple method and yet so profound. I have been researching and studying different methods to start using as I start studying the Bible more intentionally and this is by far the best I’ve found. Easy and impactful. Thank you.

This will be my first year reading through the complete Bible (I've been a Christian for over 50 years). It has been eye opening to see how the Bible works together to tell the story of God's love and provision for His people. I started in Genesis but read chronologically in the beginning. I missed a few weeks so am catching up now but hope to be done by Christmas - or New Year's at the most - then I'll be starting over again with subjects in mind that I want to study more in depth.

Good day dearest Amanda! I'm one of those who started at the beginning - Genesis. I was blessed to receive the re-birth in the middle of our country's lockdown during Covid in 2020. My life was completely transformed and I was pulled from darkness to Light! I wanted to know EVERYTHING about this Saviour and GOD who revealed Himself to this soul, so I started with the first book and I am SO GLAD I did because without knowing the Old Covenant I would not have understood why the Messiah (Christ) had to come, suffer and die........ ..... now I understand and I praise my ABBA FATHER for granting me forgiveness, salvation and a resurrected LIFE!!!!!! His Word truly brings forth faith and it is only through His sacred Spirit that His children are granted insight (enlightenment) to be able to understand His writings! I am so grateful for all of your videos. The content of your videos are valuable, very relatable & needed. It’s awesome for new Believers. I will be sharing this with a lot of people. I am blessed by your videos & have watched them 3/4 times or more. You’re very authentic, relatable & come off as if you’re having an informative conversation with friends. I’m really looking forward to getting into it & putting a lot of time & effort into getting better at the Inductive Bible Study Method. I just knew I was starting in Genesis, I’ve read it but I wanted to break it down, & really hear from God on this & understand Him, picking up on verses that point to Jesus. If you want to make God laugh, tell Him about your plans. He made it very clear, repeatedly in case I didn’t get it the 1st, 2nd, 3rd (etc) time He just kept pointing it out to me, I said ok God I get it…I’m starting with James. Lo & behold you read & studied James; with me listening as I have been putting the tabs on the Bible I’m using just for the Inductive Study. I’m using to take my time absorbing, understanding & retaining everything I’ve read. I will continue praying for you & your husband. I don’t know if God dropped it in your spirit to talk to your audience but it’s refreshing.
