Is this from a recent concert? It is a wonderful moment. Aurora's the best! As a rule I don't go to pop music concerts, but Aurora's a rare exception I would make to that rule. I've managed to miss her shows here in Seattle twice due to scheduling conflicts (way back in 2016, and unfortunately I'll also miss the late November 2024 one here too - GRRR!!). But every time I see a video like this I know that these are my people, and the vibe in any arena that welcomes her and her fans would be just fine for me, too. Thank you for sharing this glimpse into her adorably goofy mind-space. Hope you had a lot of fun that day!

Since they have red and decoded original prehistoric neanderthale gens in their entirety now (nobel prize medicin 2022) the science has gotten much better. Look up "rare neanderthale score" and autism to get the latest research. In my opinion the high rare neanderscore in autists does not support that we are more "neanderthale". It supports speciation. The high bullying autist encounter can hence be counted as genocidal in intent.

So, thanks for all the work you put into this video to share this information with us. I only heard of confirmed research today. Neanderthals are fascinating to me, too, because they engineered tools, whose parts could be carried efficiently, but could be expanded upon and built away from their shops. 🤣🤣 I have friends who would absolutely love that idea. This topic reminds me of the whale, 52… there is more than one, but they are a mix of fin and blue whales. If you don’t remember, 52 has a difficult time communicating with the other whales because of the frequency of his calls. From an objective perspective, I’m so excited they exist, because it is a more diverse expression of genetics. Hopefully it ensures the survival of the whales in our changing climate.

How do your cats get along with your new dog? I’ve been thinking about getting an assistance dog too, but I’m worried about dog being too clingy at home and never seeing my cats again, because the dog is always in my face.

My cats are pretty clingy and my dog grew up with cats. She’s careful with the cats and everyone accepts their boundaries. I was worried too, but I made sure that everyone knew eachother before the dog moved in. Not sure where you live but at my organisation the dogs train for 1 1/2 years and in that time we and the cats already got to know her ☺️

Being a language geek and having studied German in college I always find it a bit frustrating how much boring old English is replacing foreign language content (especially German). Even DW seems to be pushing their English language reporting harder than their German language reporting. I get the logic, but it's sad. But if you were doing stuff exclusively in German, UA-cam probably wouldn't recommend it to me anyway. :-/

Why is this a problem for me? I didn’t get the diagnosis because it’s like a prize that isn’t that important. If a therapist says he/she/they don’t care about „Labels“ aka my diagnosis and wants to treat me based on what my problems are, that sounds good at first. But if you think about it, different diagnoses need different treatment strategies. Forcing myself into social situations that I don’t want to, like you do with anxiety, won’t end with me beating happy at overwhelming events, it will make things worse. That’s something I don’t need in my already exhausting life. But some patients don’t know better and are forced to go through this. „I don’t care about labels“ sounds like „I am to lazy to look this up, I’m just going to make things up along the way“

Hi, this theory was widely dismissed but may be back soon and with evidence this time. See MedRxiv - Enrichment of Rare and Uncommon Neanderthal Polymorphisms in Autistic Probands and Siblings. I feel this will be awkward for us if we are seen to be more "primitive".

5:40 So you mean you are not perceived as autistic because of autistic masking ? 9:42 I think that the problem with "experts" is that they just study autism from books and from the outside of autistic people but the key thing to do is to talk to autistic people and check if the knowledge is right . 10:26 I think that the many "kinds" of autism are just collection of all the historical "discoverers" of autism and everyone of them wanted their own interpretation as diagnosis. I would say that autism spectrum means - spectrum of traits of autism, and each trait has its own intensity. 20:30 You wanted to tell that you experienced a sensory overload in shops ? 23:04 I think it can be expected that you are tired because autistic brain cannot "shield" itself from the sensory input as in neurotypicals and therefore it is overloaded and tired much sooner + the longer the too much of input lasts the worse it feels because autistic brain is not ignoring it as in neurotypicals. Thanks for authentic unedited video about autism

After 10 months of my everyday research of autism and with coincidence and cello music from Hauser I have finally "seen through" my grandmother masking. She has always been acting like "be normal", polite and just be "perfect".I understand why, because when she was young there was just little of knowledge about autism, lots of misconceptions and feebleminded people asylums. But when i realized that she is autistic my brain replayed me all of my memories of me and grandma, and i just could cry in bed for 3 hours and reminisced. Everything now seems so obvious and i now understand the feeling of deep connection between me and grandma. In short: Women can mask incredibly well but i am starting to recognize when it is happening.

If you see someone in your job , school etc. and you think that person is autistic but you do not know him/her well , it is not your close person DO NOT ask Are you autistic ? Because when it is truth and the person do not know about it the consequences can include searching every information source possible, crying , replaying whole life with autism lense and it is really hard and confusing, emotionally draining and you are alone in this situation
