Thanks for your visit and taking the time to watch.
While working full-time as a health professional, my weekends are devoted to gardening and taking pictures of flowers, shrubs and trees.
I started photography using a little elongated boxy Minolta camera way way way back. I taught myself photography on the Exact varex.
Some years ago I had also been taking photos of the waves and sunsets around Waikanae Beach, with Kapiti island as centerpiece . While travelling, I have photographed seascapes, landscapes and architecture in Sweden and other places. I would love to go back to Iceland & Chile to re-experience their stunning landscapes.

@@MagnoliaBloom thanks for the wonderful comment. Though it can be a fulltime job, bloom time is rewarding. They also make you run out of space and move into the living space.
@@kapcoastsunsetcliviaseascapes You are welcome. I will come and go and visit your clivia videos form time to time. They are indeed wonderful and blooms are huge and you have all color palets. May I know how many times do they bloom in a year? and do you limit watering in winter season as other videos suggest? I am from Azerbaijan which is contrast to your country, so climate is very different from yours. Also I paid attention you kept all clivias in pots, do you carry them in a cool place in winter? Thanks for beauty!
@MagnoliaBloom As they are not being watered enough overthe year, I do water them in winter, bring the best ones into the sunroom to make videos/photograph the flowers. They are in pots as there is no space in the garden to plant them. Clivia growing in pots everywhere in the shade/part shade of the huge trees.They do need cold temperatures to flower, do not tolerate frosts. In cold countries having regular frosts, snow and ice, the clivia would need to be indoors and out as it warms up. Bloom only once, though a plant may bloom twice in quick succession.
