That’s exactly what I think of it as well. Too bad it’s design for more efficient user experience isn’t as good as DJI Mic’s design, or else it would be perfect 👌🏼

I have an Apple Watch and trust me it doesn’t work nearly as good as this… the small screen not the easiest to frame, limited to only the default camera app for triggering record and the battery life for having the screen on all the time on the Apple Watch 😅

haha the Lark Max is cheaper and better sound quality in short compare to the DJI Mic V1

M3S is definitely better, unless all you ever need is smartphone

With the R5 you should be able to. No on the R5C only because it has a different OS to the R5, making this function not available

Trial and error, knowing the limitation of any gimbal with physics. But honestly the motors in the crane 4 is so strong I find even if it slight off balance, it stays well balanced

Depends on the camera settings you need when setting up your lighting. As demonstrated in my video, a key was possible for basic taking head, f2.8 or under and 25fps.

I don’t have a S24 to confirm but from specs alone the weight and size is compatible

I’m finding the built-in noise cancelling audio quality better on the Hollylans Lark Max. The results on the DJI Mic 2 is inconsistent… however if not using this feature or not bothered by the loss of quality, I’d go with DJI Mic 2 for the UI and design for connections.

Thanks mate for the feedback. Portkeys now makes a 7" Monitor with vertical functions named LH7P. If you're into the menus being vertical, this very much depends on the camera's feed than the monitor. The Canon R5C is one of the few cameras out there now with vertical UI (seen in my video)

I did, for perfect balance. However the motors were strong enough to hold the C70 + 70-200mm lens in place without it. It is just better to have perfect balance with any setup

Just depends on your application. For ultimate convenience, go with the DJI mic 2. If wanting the best audio quality straight out of the recording is more important, for with Hollyland Lark Max

I plan to mainly use it connnected to a device via reciever but i also want to internally record without having to charge too frequently, im specifically choosing to just get the solo set for either one, so if its without the charging case, would the max's battery life be a big advantage?
