Hi, yes, the newer edition is better made, as the first was rather flimsy. This can be a problem when opening it over 6-18 months. With the modification, it was not the steps that I changed, but the philosophy behind it. So for me (by way of example), when looking at the Primal Spark, I have a Hindu/Buddhist i. so rather than see Angelic Bodies coming from a source (creation point), I see myself arising from the base field of Enlightened energy. Other things, I used Jungian Philosophy, and Gnostic ideas. I did do the process the first time according to the text. Which is why the second time I adapted the details (but not the actual steps). I found the process of doing the changes to be as much a part of the process, as the actual sessions. - I hope that answers your question :) And I hope that you enjoy the process should you choose to do it. If you cannot get a hard copy, you can download pdfs of the text, they do not have anything more or less than the print copy.

I'm using ebooks, not physical books. I have the 1st edition ebook, and am wondering if the newer edition is worth saving money for or not? Or is the 1st edition most all of the content? I'd rather not spend the money on it if it mostly has all the same content...But if it has a lot more info/details , then maybe I will buy the new edition. I do see theres an ebook of the new edition on the thoth publishing site to buy. What size beads and string do you recommend? Is 8mm a good size for the small beads? Did you use nylon or something else? Does it matter what size of nylon I get? I want something that will last and not fall apart over time. I will have to go through the steps to get a better idea. I hope it's ok if I come back and ask questions about the philosophy after I internalize it better. Thanks!!

@@username54487 HI, no, it is the same content. It is just the actual construction of the book is better than the first edition. The ebook has everything, plus a newer preface (the only thing that is changed), but the newer ebook is the same as the first edition. Of course, I look forward to how you approach this text. @@username54487 I used nylon thread, but did knot it between the beads. The biggest issue you will find, is making sure you can thread it through the beads. The size of the beads is really up to you. But they do need to be smaller than the large, and the reverse is also true. Remember, it must be apealling to you, and pleasant to hold. it is going to be your friend for a while. I have tried sending you a picture of the beads, (in colour) but the comments section will not let me do that.

You can upload pics without an account to imgur if you want / can (if not, don't worry about it). Can you please tell me what thickness nylon you're using? When I look at your cord in the video, it looks pretty thick? Is it 0.9mm nylon S-Lon? Or maybe something thicker? The beads I see available are either smaller hole (0.8mm - 1mm) or large hole (2mm - 2.5mm). Since I've never used one of these before, I don't know what size to make it. I tried out 8mm beads at the shop yesterday and they seem like a pretty good size, if not a little small. I guess I won't really know until I make one. I just want it to last a long time. For the beads themselves, I was thinking to use natural mAterial like typical chakra gem stone beads and wood/bone

The 1990 ebook is the same as the other editions (Dolores has not changed it since the first edition really). No, the pictures are the same. I will send you a pic of the cord with each of the paths. after I get home from work (am in Australia, so the time difference is a bit brutal) :)

@@TheMerryMystic-vj8do Thank you so much, i really appreciate it!! That is very helpful... I will just use the 1st edition then. Pictures would be great!! That would help me get a better look at it. I'm still trying to figure the size of beads, length of cord, distance between beads, and the knots... Because i've never used beads for meditation, so it's a little foreign for me. I noticed on yours it looks like you don't have knots in between the small beads. But the book says to put knots between the small beads as well. Maybe it is just preference?

@@username54487 Hi, I do have knots between all the beads, they are just nice and closely tied either side of each bead. The small beads do have a knot, but it is very tight, so not easy to see in the video.. It was a bit of a trial to do this, but was worth the effort. UA-cam will not let me send pictures. I will see if there is another way to do this, and will let you know as soon as I can figure out the best way to let you see both the colour diagram, and a picture of my own cord.
