Hi! My name is Georgia, and I love to sew!!!
My first sewing machine was a Christmas gift. I kicked off my sewing journey with very simple projects like curtains and got very good at sewing straight lines 😆.
I have no formal education in dressmaking or fashion design. I learned to sew by watching UA-cam videos and following the instructions in sewing pattern envelopes.
During the covid 19 pandemic, I mustered up the courage to buy patterns and fabric online, and the rest is history. I'm hooked, and there's no turning back!! I started this channel in the hope of improving my sewing skills and inspiring someone who's never used a sewing machine to give it a try👍🏾🙏🏾😆

I bought the cotton eyelet fabric and cotton lining at a local fabric store in Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦 😀🌟

Oh my gosh why does this happen to me too lol!!! I look at the picture and then I say to myself this will be a "quick" project. So funny and so untrue; next thing I know it takes me an additional month to complete it. Well this dress still turned out amazing!!! I was so surprised when you mentioned it has boning!! Yep another reason for the project to take longer lol. All of this stuff is so much fun!
