Nice! 😊 It would be great if the final output looked something like the thumbnail. Will work out one towards that. By the way, how about a roulette simulator? 😁
I've thought about a roulette sim but the betting portion seemed overly complicated (unless using VB) with betting corners, etc. Perhaps I'll do a simple one without the betting component
Perfect. Just what I needed. Thank you!
Glad it helped!
We appreciate your work, l would like to create a different slots machine it will us six slots l got to trues my numbers, the win number most start by the smallest finish with the biggest, like (09,12.25,34,39,48)
Hey there excellent dude, How can I do this in apple please?

How to write formula for this equation.... If b2 greater then c2 then the results should come with + and how much value that increase For example : b2 is 40 c2 35 then results should come +5
Thank you so much ! You saved me !!
You're welcome!
Is there a link to download the files to follow along? Thank you
Thank you very much 😊 ☺️ 🙏
You are most welcome 😊
for assigning values, vlookup is much easier and better then nexted if funtion
Hello, thanks for the info & it’s amazing, I need another help with formula. I have 0 to 9 numbers & needs to pick 3 numbers from 0 to 9 in the separate cells. The 2nd cell number always should be greater than the first cell pick or it can be same or zero. Similarly with the cell 3 or 3rd pick. Can you please advise me how to do in the excel. I would be happy to connect to learn from you
You are teaching excel formulas which is difficult for me concentrate on and you pipe in distracting music over the instuctions. I hate that you did that.
Thanks for your feedback. When I started my audio wasn't great so I added music to get rid of some of the background noise. Our upcoming videos will have no music
I wonder if theres a way to select a column of numbers and have Excel display which numbers are cold/hot, so i can make a decision on numbers that might be overdue? So, although i am well aware that lotteries are random, there may be a way of using 'overdue' numbers as a long term strategy.
Yes, each draw is random. However, I suppose if you wanted to find "overdue" numbers ... Most lotteries publish historical lists of drawn numbers. You could scrape those numbers and pull in to Excel and find the least occuring numbers and use those as your "overdue" numbers. Good luck! If you win, think of the Excellent Dude. Cheers!
@@ExcellentDude Thank you for your excellent reply.
Well my symbol sign is not working that tab won't open what now
Then u can't do anything have fun
Hi there. Could you give me more details of the issue you are encountering. I'm not sure what tab are you referring. The "Insert"?
Worked great! Thanks Made my work a lot easier
Glad it helped
Is there a way to generate a button to click instead of pressing shift+F9?
You could use VB and/or a macro to create a button to save you from having to do shift+F9
Thank, exactly what I was looking for!
Glad I could help!
Cool.... Thanks for that. Will try this out and see what happens.
hopefully that solves the problem - if not, let me know and I can dive deeper into the file.
Thanks this was very helpful. Also, wanted to know if we can change the format to currency while we apply this formula?
You could adjust the "Increase Decimal" (below the Number Format drop down) to increase the number of zeros showing after the decimal point.
so great!
Hi, Could you please make the UAE based lottory prediction calculations which works through previous draw results
Thanks for the suggestion! I'll take a look at the UAE Lottery
Well explained. Better than my lecturer
Thank you for the feedback!
I love the pace & depth at which you walk us through setting up these progress charts. Thank you so much!
Thanks for the kind words!
Thank you; simple, brief, and helpful!
Glad it was helpful!
First of all thank you sir. One thing, if I write a score of lets say 120, it returns an 'A'. So, how can fix the rage between 0-100?
This is super helpful. Never knew you could do something like this. Thanks! :)
Happy to help!
This only works if you add the zeros first.. didn’t explain how to remove zeros that are there to begin with.
Cannot get this to work. Set it up exactly as you have it, but with a -/+ extended scale in the letter grade column. Anything that falls on the border is scored as the next lower grade: e.g., 93 should be an A, but is scoring as an A- and the range for A- is 90-92, with 90 entered in the center column.
Hi! It’s there by chance a way you could help me design a lottery generator with specific filters? I know nothing about Excel but I do play the lottery and it would be much easier if I could create my own numbers to the print out and fill in my slips!!
I'm not sure if I can help out with your request. However, I'm sure there are online tools that could do that for you.
Got stuck several times, getting F for all grades. The solution is that the scoring table array - just like in this video - must be sorted/ordered from the LOWEST to the HIGHEST scores/grades. My mistake was that my scoring table array was sorted from the highest to the lowest... that's why I am getting all F... nice vid man, thanks!
great video + your comment was really helpful. thank you both :)
wouldn't it be faster to just copy the tables into one big table and insert a new pivot table against the new combined table?
It could be quicker if the data was static. However, what if the various tables were separate to support different business requirements (i.e. a table for the East, West, etc.) and were updated on a frequent basis? Then this solution would make more sense.
😊😊😊😊😊
Thanks brother!
Thanks a ton. Very helpful.
I'm glad it was helpful! Thanks for the comment!
Tried it several times, but never worked, so I gave up.
Sorry to hear that. Can you provide more details what is going wrong and maybe I can help get it working for you.
@@ExcellentDude Thanks for coming back so quickly. In the end I realised that using the IFS function worked just as well. BTW, I suspect that my problem was maybe using commas, instead of semi-colon.
OK - glad to hear you have a working solution. Cheers!
Instead concatenate, I can use & for simply conection of the cells, perfect :D
Best example for What I was looking for!!! Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Excellent! 😉 I've been trying to figure this out for nearly an hour. Your video was perfect!
Glad it helped you out!
Quick and easy... love it and it saved me a ton of time ☺
Glad it helped!

This project is so versatile, with small changes can serve as dice roll simulator, so many uses. 🎲🎲🎲
Great concept. Would it be possible to add score system for some symbols and combinations, with spin limits/credits. And button with refresh option? Thanks 👍🏻
Cool idea! It's certainly possible. Perhaps I'll add a Part 2 to this video and incorporate some of those ideas.
Superb... I just got how to work with excel Thank you 😊
Great 👍
👍🏽
Howdy! Thanks for the view
hey alyssa
Also only seeing Fs all the way down.
Hi there - the key is to make sure when you reference the scoring table on the right (in my video), to use absolute references (noted by $ signs) otherwise when you copy the vlookup formula to other rows, the vlookup will shift what it's looking at which will give incorrect results. Here's an example with absolute references - hopefully this is why your results aren't working (=vlookup(C4,$G$4:$H$8,2,FALSE). Let me know if this was the issue - if not, add your formula to the comments.
@@ExcellentDude I did exactly that and just got Fs and Es. BTW, I found a better solution, use the IFS function, it's just as good (and easier to use). Also, if in doubt use the function wizard, it's sometimes the formatting that causes the problems.
Thank you for the video. Very informative. Quick question. I have values that total 100% but for some reason, I cannot get the % sign to be visible. Anything below 100% will show the % sign. Any suggestions? Thank you.
Hi there! Let me check my files (it's been a while since I did that video). It may be something as simple as making the font size a little smaller or increasing the size of the text box.
👍🏽
Thanks for the thumbs up Barry
