The search for mining ruins .
Переглядів 323 місяці тому
Hi everyone. On this video we are away on a hunting trip but there is a place in the bush that i wanted to go and find again. I haven't been to the spot for some years so let's see whether i can find it. It is an old mining site, I don't know much about mining but I'm very interested in it and wanting to learn more about history of it in Tasmania. cheers 🍻

Just a bit of a look at what I get up to in my business. So this is a job I’m taking on the owner of the property has had a couple of other people come and had a go but it has been too much for them, they have made a bit of a mess with some very scary stumps left behind (bar chairs) are not mine. Cheers and thanks for watching 👍
New battery in and first ride of 24 👍

Hi everyone. The new battery is in and just out for a short ride to test the new microphone set up but I'm going to buy a better-quality microphone as this one is not that good. Thank you for watching and cheers Dallas 👍

Looks good 👍
Thanks 👍
Looks like a good choice. I didn't know Stihl made an electric. I been using a Dewalt 12in. for the last few years. Can see it in my last couple videos. Cheers.
Yes they have been making them for a while now . I was going to buy the same Dewalt saw a bit back. Thanks for your comment mate and keep plugging away at that track . Cheers 🍻 👍
That’ll work mate
That’s it , we don’t actually use them that much anymore 👍
@@atvcampingadventures1728 but when you need too itll be good to go man
With the wind we had Sunday I’m not surprised there’s trees down everywhere mate
It was windy on Sunday , a lot of the mess that’s laying on the ground is from other people who had tried to have a go at this job previously but gave up but there’s no blow down on this job which I’m surprised after Saturday’s wind. Cheers mate 🍺👍
@@atvcampingadventures1728 no doubt youll chug through it bit by bit cobba at least it’ll keep ya warm over winter
No I’ll sell it all mate 👍
@@atvcampingadventures1728 may as well cover ya time and effort mate
That’s it my friend 👍🤙🍺
Amazing scenery, love the 'bear tunnels' closed in stuff but you can keep the spider webs in the face, not fun! Glad to see you out and about.
There’s tracks up in there everywhere mate good fun riding though 👍🏻
Yeah I had no idea how many there is, it’s a maze. Thanks for your comment mate 👍
Planning for what could happen love it cheers Kevin 😊
Rivers low cobba looks warm too
Yeah it is low I didn’t test the temperature of the water but I was tempted to jump in there 🤙
@@atvcampingadventures1728 pretty warm this time of year mate
What’s that thing sticking up in the back?
Hi mate It’s a rollover protection bar ,that here in Australia we must have on our atvs . Cheers thanks for your comment 👍🤙
Maté battery life sucks even good quality ones die fast I’ve been using an isolator switch to disconnect it from the dash draw problem sorted
Yeah good idea, I think it’s still under warranty as well I hope 🤞. Thanks for your comment mate have a great weekend 👍🍺
@@atvcampingadventures1728 you to man
Bit over the wind mate it’s been full on lately good to get away with the boy nice vid man cheers
Thanks for your comment mate, yeah so over the wind it does my head in but should get some better weather soon, I hope 🤞 cheers tazyt 👍🤙
its good fun though there speeds your friend when you get the confidence up mate the old bridge track used to be the main track to purtons flats very steep at the end but fun as hell great vid man cheers
Yeah I just take it easy now I have had a couple of very bad dirt bike accidents and come out second best lol . Yes that track I’m going to see if I can get across it soon and have a look down there and it’s good to know someone like you who knows the history because I have no idea 😄 Thanks for your support mate cheers Dallas 👍👍👍
@@atvcampingadventures1728 no worries cobba

Thanks for your comments bud 👍
good fun down the dial mate guessing your as local as i am nice ride mate cheers
Yes it is good fun, yes I’m a local 👍
That looks like a awesome trail to be riding at, and great to see also have Cfmoto.
Hi mate Yes the tracks are very cool to ride on, yeah I like my cfmoto a lot it’s a very good atv . Thank you for your comments cheers mate 👍👍👍
I have a smaller compressor or it look smaller, but I think yours is more powerful. Anyway, important to have with you all time.
That’s right you must have one, I can’t remember how powerful that one of mine is , I’ll have to have a look again 👍
Your trails are AMAZING
Yes they are ,the same as up your way as well mate . Thanks for your comment cheers buddy 👍👍👍
I know how it is getting out and filming. Life always finds a way to distract you. Looking forward to the video 👍
Yes it does, thanks for the comment and hope you all are doing well 👍
First off- love the scenery, can’t say that enough. The contrast to our home riding areas is so different. Keep making and posting more videos. Our area is getting locked into winter, so we are switching from quads to snowmobiles. A couple of questions: How do you like the CFMOTO? Does it have enough power, what are your likes and dislikes (all brands have issues so I’m not picking a fight just looking for an honest opinion), do you think you will get a bigger size unit? What is the realistic cargo weight range? I’m a big guy but after I get our camping gear loaded on my 850 is squatting. My wife rode a friends CF 600, then rode my Polaris 850 (I do not have power steering), she felt the CF was a far better unit and the handling with power steering was superior.
Hi mate sorry for the late reply, thanks so much for watching the video and more adventures to come. Yes the scenery is beautiful here as is in your part of the world too . Snowmobile’s yes we don’t have them here but we do get a lot of snow up in the highlands . As for the questions about the bike, I think I will do a video on that as I will be able to answer the questions better if you know what I mean mate 👍 Cheers bud and thanks for watching and commenting hope you and your family have a great Christmas 🎄 👍👍👍
@@atvcampingadventures1728 Thank so much, looking forward to more videos, and Merry Christmas to you all as well!
I had my Cforce 520 5 years this year and I really love it. I have done a lot of trail riding on rocky trail and it handle it like a champ. I always recommend bigger tires than those 25 inch that come stock on many. I have actually tested 625 last summer (625 in Europe) and it felt like a can-am 570.
I’m going to do a review on mine as soon as I get the time to, but must agree they are a very good atv I’m impressed 👍👍👍
Super important to have!
You have great scenery for trail riding - Video was awesome! 👍
Thank you very much for watching, yes the scenery on those trails is beautiful I will be heading to the west coast for a trip early next year where the scenery will be completely different and all so over Christmas where it will be different again , if all goes well 👍 Cheers mate 👍👍👍
Great solution! I've had problems with chainsaws and bouncing off the rack and breaking stuff. I put a pad underneath the saw to prevent damage to the saw from rough trails. Cheers from the middle of nowhere Alaska!👍
Thanks for popping in and watching and good idea with the padding 👍, Alaska mate I would love to go riding and hunting up there . You live in one beautiful place my friend Cheers Dallas 🍺🍺👍👍
Love it, the constant evolution that is ATV storage. As long as it keeps everything on the quad and it works, use it. I'm trying to come up with some sort of saw storage holder on the back of mine now as we have to keep cutting our way in and out of trails. As often as I use on I need it to be quick access and not interfere with the camping gear I usually have tied down up front.
Yes there is lots of good ideas out there for sure, I hope you find a solution for your saw mate 👍👍👍
I was about to ask if you had a diff lock but you got it done!🤙
Hi thanks for your comment. I bloody forget about the diff lock most of the time 😣😉 Hope all is well cheers mate 👍👍👍
That's some awesome scenery and mud holes! 😄 I have a habit now of always going into low and locking the diffs before heading into the mud. This was after getting stuck so many time before unnecessarily 😁 - Great video, thanks for sharing! 👍 Michael!
Yes I always I forget to lock the front diff 😣and it’s very beautiful here ,as your part of the world is as well 👌thank you very much for watching cheers Dallas ! 👍🍻
I have to ask, what is that on the back of your quad, an antenna?
Hi mate It is a roll-over protection bar, we must have them installed on our atv's here in Australia by law. Thank you very much for watching and your comment cheers 👍
@@atvcampingadventures1728 Given how steep the slopes are you show us, I'm betting they get used a fair amount. Keep up the good work and showing us all a different world!
Cheers mate thank you very much 👍👍👍
