The problem with Homer is that he's a very lazy characters who is addicted to fastfood/takeaway in the whole series that he would rather have someone like Marge to cook his dinner than trying to make effort to cook one himself which why he orders food were Marge worked without realising what's going on.

I think Homer suit well as Wario because he definately match his personality as a reckless driver which is exactly the problem with Homer that he won't listen to people's reasoning or admit that he's wrong/fault especially which involved Lisa's anxiety of his reckless driving as shown at the start of the episode because he's an idiot but that's the whole point as this is a popular cartoon and comedy show of all time.

Marge should have known something fishy about Homer getting a better job while acting like an expert instead of being more concern about being able to have a bath in the middle of the day. I mean Marge had been married to Homer for many years and you would have thought that she knows a lot about him by now.
