I Attempted to Make Body Armor Will It Armor? 😬
I didn't expect this armor to work I was just curious to see what would happen. Definitely A 4 iq design but it was fun to experiment with. I used Red Army standard 7.62x39 and IMI 556 NATO.

Idk much about maintenance on the wood, should I have to worry about it too much? What precautions should I take?
I had more fear of scratching my barrel and bipod. I played an airsoft game with it and didn’t experience any wear on the wood just barrel. Plus a scratch on wood creates character😂
Thanks for answering, was worried I would have to constantly taking care of the wood stock lol.
So i was interested in this gun, i was curious: What magazine pouches can correctly fit those Type 96 LMG Magazines?
@@brokenshen3865 I got lucky I found a storage pouch on my gun bag that can fit them. I couldn’t find any manufacturer who reproduced type 96 pouches, maybe try a gas mask bag?
Nice rifle. I want to buy one in very good condition now. Is it good buy?
Does it come with the flashhider or did Evike and co yoink it out of the box to sell separately?

The Soviets created the Mosin Nagant M44 carbine and issued it in 1944 for the same reason as the Americans with their M1 Carbine. The M44 would be a handy carbine offering real firepower to artillerymen, mortar crews, truck drivers, radio men, supply personnel, et al. One wonders what took the Russians so long in devising a carbine version of the iconic M1891 Mosin Nagant rifle. Others ask why did the Soviet Red Army issue another antiquated bolt-action firearm so late in World War 2. The main issue is that the M44 used the full size M1891 Mosin Nagant cartridge, 7.62 x 54mm, in a carbine. Modern owners of the M44 say the recoil is unpleasant. Somehow the designers of the M44 perhaps did not know of the contemporary Soviet design of the 7.62 x 39mm cartridge developed in 1943 for the 1944 SKS semi-automatic rifle. There were no documented attempts to chamber the shorter round for the M44 carbine, which would have been ideal. The Red Chinese PLA adopted the M44 and began manufacturing copies after wresting control of China from the Kuomintang Nationalists in 1949. But the M44 in both countries was soon overtaken by the SKS and early AK-47. Numbers of Chinese M44 clones made their way into the United States where those turned up at gun shows for a low cost under $200 brand new.
Yup to all that BUT you gotta love the fireballs.
Mosin and other outdated models were produced so as not to reduce production volumes; if innovations are introduced, this will lead to a drop in volumes. This strategy turned out to be a winner.

Hell yeah
I’ve never seen one I will investigate
Wilkinson 12 guage ar is better just saying
hex receivers always seem to have much nicer QC for whatever reason , maybe post and pre war production
Yes I've notice prewar and post have nicer machining work. But for some reason every Tula I run across has better QC than a Izhevsk
Busted my first whitetail with a 1941 Kar98 my great uncle picked it up in the winter of 44 while fighting under Patton about 10 clicks south of Bastogne..he actually sent 4 wooden crates of souvenirs back to the USA.
It was nasty
Love the K98k. Probably why I have so many of them. 🤠
They're cool, but they're not exactly rare. Tens of thousands of damaged M91/30s were rebuilt into M44 Carbines from 1943~ onwards.
Yes probably built on a surplus action but Tulas in general are definitely harder to find I have both hex and round receiver plus pre production
Bruh what you smoking. I’ve never even heard of these, never seen one for sale, and I see everything. And now I want one. Of course they are rare
I found this one at an estate sale. once in a blue moon I find one crawling around on Gun Broker
I saw a bunch of new Red Chinese M44 clones for sale at a gun show back in 1998. The price was cheap, just a little over $200. A former co-worker owned one. He said the recoil was very stiff and the muzzle blast a shock wave he could see and feel. Still, he liked his M44. @@user-zj1uf8hs6t
Thank you glory to allies
Bruh the Soviets literally started WW2 together with the Nazis...
that is an oddball
Вы так же умеете стрелять? По моему, этот стрелок неплохо справляется.

The audio is 👌👌👌
That's super cool I've been looking for a new lmg for my post-apocalyptic cosplay and really didn't want to go the M249 route this thing looks Wicked especially with that huge price drop
Yes epic indeed, definitely worth it
Thank you, finally someone that shows that you don’t have to take the rifle away from your shoulder and loose your aim just to cock it. Well done 👍
хорошее оружие
да, качественная винтовка
The flash and bang after a trigger pull for sure.
M4/ar15 hybrid? There’s no such thing it’s either one or the other. Unless it’s full auto or burst then it’s just an m4 ar15 clone.
respect the muzzle
Respectfully, both of you are wrong, but I don't blame you guys, this topic is very nuanced xD M4/M16 is just a government designation for AR-15s built to specifications listed by the government, in fact, early M16s and M16A1s still had the "COLT AR-15" printed on them alongside "PROPERTY OF U.S. GOVT. M16/M16A1", all of these rifles part's interchange with each other, disregarding the nuances of neutered bolts. A more recent example you can think to is the Sig P320 being adopted as the M17/M18, the HK416 being adopted as the M27/M38, etc. And having a full auto or burst mode does not instantly make an AR pattern rifle an M16 or M4, original AR-15s and AR-10s have had full auto modes since their inception.
could you still call this a 91/30 with that hex receiver?
Yes the Russians still produced hex rifles up until 1944 maybe 45 haven't seen one yet. The Fins cut down some of the old 91 and turned them into 91/30 configuration.
@@MADmilitaria1oh I've never seen a post 1930 m91 before
