Hey there, I removed my edge protector as it was getting beaten up and am going to put on a new one, but when I removed the old one I am stuck with extremely sticky adhesive residue on the edges of my paddle... Is there a way to get this off without damaging the paddle? Thanks!

Players with a table tennis background, where spin is king, THIS is the right paddle for you . Great control ,lots of spin... I do not consider it a power paddle... its great at the net, it absorbs hard contact like no other paddle, allowing you to reset a point . I've been using this paddle since its intro and have been a better player for it!!

FYI What you are using on your demonstration is an overgrip that goes over a grip. You wrap it the same way, but a real grip is thicker.

Does this tape come a little wider, or is it OK if putting a wider tape. My paddle is rimless and it has been splitting on the edges. That is why I am looking to put the rim but I want to cover the splitting edges completely.

To quote: " As you can see the grip is already off". Well...duh... I watched this video to see how to do the entire job. You should explain the best way to take the grip off. Explain the best place to buy new replacement grip. Explain if the grip is exactly the same as tennis grip. Explain if tape should be angled. Sorry... This is a poor instructional video.

nice video. when i applied it to my 3 prolite paddles and a friend's prolite paddle i cleaned off the edge with an alcohol prep pad first.

I have a larger hand and when holding a 4 1/4" grip, my finger tips touch by thumb...leaving zero room which I'm told should be or have a space the width of a finger. Given even a 4 3/8" won't make a significant difference, is it possible to take the diamond grip replacement tape and add that over or on top of an existing diamond grip to get a greater width and feel? Does this create any issues beside the additional weight?

Thanks for clear, easy to follow instructions. Can you leave the original grip in place if you're trying for a larger diameter grip?
