I’m very interested in surgery but not sure which surgery I need. My lower jaw is asymmetrical. My 24 & 25 don’t align with my 8 & 9 , my lower jaw leans toward more to my left side. Would I need double jaw surgery for that or just mandible surgery?

I did my surgery October 30th in chicago and I would say the pain was 0 and the discomfort was 2 but knowing it improved your sleep apnea it becomes 0.

That’s the realest TMJ doctor I have ever encounter….I sent this to a dentist that told me that autoimmune disease does not connect with TMD. Sad enough there are many studies online that confirms the connection.

Really interesting and wow makes so much sense. I suffer terribly from fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, low adrenals, pots, MCAS, TMJ issues, everything he talks about. Of course I also have a high narrow palate and very recessed jaws that were retracted even more by ortho as a kid. It's horrible way to be alive😢 I'm hopeful I can get treatment soon.

How strict is the no chew with regards to really soft foods like scrambled eggs and soft fine noodles (like ramen noodle packets) where you’re practically not chewing at all?

tip for your brother, drink from a cup as soon as he can, throw away the syringes as soon as possible. Utilize chatgpt for help with blending smoothies. Ask chatgpt to help meet the 50g protein and calories per smoothie. Its a breeze!

Ive had invisilign twice, first time with underdeveloped jaws and second time post MMA. Post MMA my 2 x front teeth didnt relapse after stoppong invisilign, due to improved tongue space and learning not to tongue thrust. Does short surgery time reduce permanent numbness in the lips/face?
