Meters are terrible slow but then again still useful to not over power said speakers in use via their speaker specs wattage wise.

Beautiful jukebox. Have that song on 45 from when I was a kid.

Very jealous of these old Wulritzers. Great song by Freddy " Boom Boom" Cannon. Speaker is definitely a showpiece.

Had one. The Marantz was the best, easiest to use; easy on the eye and so, SO precise. Just LOVED how it STOPPED! Compared with other analogue technologies at the time, it just stopped DEAD! Perfect and BEAUTIFUL machine and technology. I could reel that tape up with my eyes closed and the sound was SO VERY CLEAR!

This cheap Technics EQ i had, too. It is a limitation for Dynamic and generate noise. it is built complete with semiconductors in the way for the signal ! The previous analog Model with Fader Sounds much better.

For those who might want to know, it's a 50W receiver, 32W in quadriphonic mode.

I have both... haven't used them in years because the M-500 needs a new transformer which couldn't be found 20 years ago... they still sit here... It's ashamed because the C-1 preamp had been serviced with an A+ tag.... BE AWARE!!! Do NOT use the M-500 to pump juice to 4 ohm speakers..... It has plenty of power to run wonderful speakers.... used Boston Acoustic 200's on this with a Velodyne sub..... ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL sound. But am a vinyl type listener... virgin vinyl half mastered were huge on this set up..
