I have been obsessing over this song for over a year now and I have a feeling I will never stop. The way it combines the feeling of longing, despair, resurrection....I imagine that this song takes place under water, hence the muffled sound. There are mermaids trying to seduce you. But they are not the typical, pretty Ariel-kind mermaids - they are like demon versions of them. They have gigantic mouths with shark triangular teeth, their nails are long and hard like claws and their eyes resemble that of a lizard. The are still freakishly seductive tho. Their charming smile, their flowing hair, their perfect hour glass figures and especially their way of moving and dancing in the water rarely fails to completely and utterly capture people who meet them under water. They know of their power and love to use and abuse it. They lust for revenge for what we have done to the oceans. But they also kinda lust for us and our flesh.
